Hello everyone, my name is Artem. I am a tour leader, entrepreneur and father of 2 children. I want to tell you my story, how I decided to organize my first tour. All my life travel has been and is an integral part of me.
The first tour my parents arranged for me from Ukraine to Russia, to my grandmother, a long 1000 km. I was just over 18 months from the day of birth. Then I did this route with my parents 2 times a year, and later I did it by myself.
At the age of 12 I was sent in coach in the company of an old TV set and 2 sacks of pears. At customs they were surprised when a childish voice answered the question: "Whose bags? :))
At school there were constant tourist gatherings and trips to the Crimean mountains.
For the first time we went on vacation without parents with the friend after 10th class. However for the sake of it was necessary to deceive parents and to tell a history that classmates in a pioneer camp in Crimea wait for us, ostensibly there were released 2 places for us :) I hope my mom is not reading this now :) It was the most budgetary trip in my life and, frankly, one of the brightest. My friend and I had $10 a day to live on. For this money we rented accommodation, ate and hung out cool :)
After graduating from university I had not only a state education, but also 3 years of dj practice. I've started to devote more time to this job straight after my graduation. First in Dnepropetrovsk and then in Kiev I worked at Send Records music label. We were throwing parties, releasing music and then, thanks to that, started traveling. Amsterdam became familiar and familiar to us, every year we went to a music conference, first as listeners, then as participants. We travelled around Holland, England, Romania, Serbia, Russia, Belgium, Thailand in 2-3 years and several times each.
After that there was disappointment in the core of my DJ career, and after moving to Moscow, I concentrated on producing videos and presentations. Working on videos opened up a new round of traveling, and it was thanks to this job I visited new countries and interesting parts of Russia, which you can't just go to. Or if you do, it's the last place you'll go.
During the same time my old dream has come true - to travel across Europe by car. Since then, I just love traveling by car. You can read more about this trip on my blog https://medium.com/(ссылка скрыта)
My restless nature demanded new achievements and discoveries. After a difficult stage in my life and a tough decision, I had to part ways with the company that invited me to work in Moscow. With this decision my life was turned upside down and, unfortunately, the relations with some friends were turned upside down.
Over the past 3 years I had time to try myself as a photographer, cameraman, video producer, "lost" a year of life in the best queststroom in Moscow as a co-founder and author. For 3 years we took small groups to Hong-Kong and China to jewelry exhibitions and studied this region very well. Then there was the launch of a workshop for the production of gift wrapping, machines, materials, employees, sales... It was all fun and games until I was left alone in the business, without a partner. As they say, I thought it was an investment, but it turned out to be experience again.
After these interesting events in life I decided to take a break and realize who I am, why I do it all and what my mission in life is. I had to give up many habits and stereotypes, change my way of life and admit my mistakes. Having analyzed all my experience, I deduced 4 components from which I enjoy the most, besides family and friends.
Organizing things. Not being able to be in a passive state.
Traveling.
Helping people, inspiring.
Taking photos, making videos.
Having written out these points on paper, I almost immediately formed a puzzle of what I want to do next. My goals and objectives have long included "Organise a tour to Hong Kong. And the next day I came across courses on arranging author tours. That's how all 4 points that inspire me and give me a taste of life collapsed in an instant. Author tours are something I intuitively searched for and couldn't formulate into a physical manifestation. For me it's not just another business project, but a lifestyle and an opportunity to share experiences with people and charge them for a new, positive breakthrough in their lives. After all, every person on the journey is a teacher, and in travel there is an incredible concentration of learning, sharing experiences and discovering each other more easily.
If you've read to this point and haven't fallen asleep, chances are this story resonates with your life in some way. I'd love it if these words inspire you to do new things, make life changes, and love new adventures. Live, love, learn every day and travel. Peace be with you all!
