About the tour: Just got back from the tour. It was an unforgettable trip! We visited all locations under the program. We lived in a lakeside cottage. Sups and catamarans were freely available. There was a sauna in the evening. Our guide Anastasia talked very interestingly about Karelian culture. I paid attention to each guest. She even gave us a concert in the evening. She played a musical instrument in national costume. And the nature of Karelia is simply amazing. We took a ride on a boat, vintage train and zipliner. And we've been very lucky with the weather. About the tour: It's a very good idea. We chose a great place to stay, on the shore of a picturesque lake, peace and quiet, from there I did not want to go anywhere at all, but I was unlucky with the escort. This is not a tour leader or a guide, but simply a silent escort who solves organizational and economic issues. The complete lack of travel information, about the history and cultural traditions of the region, the impression that you are traveling in a minibus with a group of fellow travelers. The last day was just a failure and ruined the whole impression of the trip, shaking for about an hour along the broken road for a walk (planned 4 hours) on the island with sandy beaches. As a result, at the pace of the military march, we ran along the shore, and then suddenly turned into the forest and, entangled in the web, ran back at the same pace (the run took less than two hours).
