Bali Java Malaysia Singapore — 12 days of real travel
It's not about mentioning countries. This is about living Asia deeper than 90% of tours do
.Bali is not just beaches here, but waterfalls, rice terraces, temples, and Nusa Penida is one of the region's strongest places. Java is the very level that mass tours do not reach: Borobudur, Prambanan and the atmosphere of real Indonesia. Kuala Lumpur is the energy of modern Asia. Singapore is a city of the future that is completely changing the perception of the region.
The route is designed wisely: flights instead of tedious journeys, a comfortable pace, a balance of experience and relaxation.
It is suitable for those who want not only to change the picture, but to really feel the journey. Not suitable if you only need a beach and a minimum
of movement. The October race of this tour will take place right before the Formula 1 race days in Singapore!!!
Arrival, transfer and check-in This is the
day you arrive on the tour. You will be met at the airport, after which you will be transferred and checked into a hotel in Ubud no earlier than 14:00 (we live
there for 2 nights). This is a day without a program, so you will be able to adapt to a new time zone and climate.
Lake Temple In the
morning, on the way to the waterfalls, we will visit the temple, which is revered by locals as one of the most sacred places on the island. It is located on the edge of a lake, which is one of the main sources of fresh water for all of Bali's irrigation systems.
At the end of
the day, a high cascading double waterfall about 40 meters high awaits us.Two main streams exist all the time, the rest are filled depending on the amount of rain. The waterfall is beautiful not only for admiring pristine nature. It is very comfortable to swim in it, as the pool water warms up quite well. Bathing is an indescribable pleasure. You don't have to know how to swim, you can just splash around, or wander or sit on rocks and shallow
water.Rice terraces
We will also visit the famous rice terraces. There are convenient paths among the terraces so you can easily walk along them while admiring the surrounding landscape. Since different varieties of rice ripen at different times, it often happens that young shoots are still springing up in one place, and harvesting is already actively underway in another. In addition, in the fields you will see small stone structures that resemble turrets. These are altars, or rather entire temples. They are built to worship the goddess Devi Shri, who gives these lands fertility. The Balinese believe that it gives
farmers a rich harvest. We will return to our hotel in Ubud in the evening.
Temple complexes
Today we will visit another rice terrace and explore Bali's cultural heritage near the famous village
of Ubud.We visit a small but cozy temple complex with a large green area, hidden among many roads and rice terraces. There is also a huge pond with colorful koi that you can feed and cages with birds. This temple is always very quiet and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful.
TheSacred
Monkey Forest
in Bali is a biosphere reserve located near Ubud. About 700 long-tailed macaques live here in their natural habitat. Thereis a large square with a fountain in the central part of the forest. Here you can feed the monkeys and see them up close. From time to time, park staff feed the primates themselves: for this purpose, special cages have been installed here containing sweet potatoes (large sweet potatoes
