Georgians say that those who have not been to Svaneti have not been to Georgia!

And for a reason - these are the most beautiful mountains in the Caucasus, because it's not for nothing that they are called the Heart of the Caucasus!

The white peaks of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, bright green valleys, glaciers sliding down, deep waterfalls, emerald lakes. I can't put into words how beautiful it is here.

In 6 days we will see:

  • Martvili Canyon and Balda Canyon Kugha and Abges waterfalls Nokalakevi fortress and

  • Dadiani Palace Chalaadi and Shkhara glaciers of Lake Koruldi and Shdugra

  • waterfalls, the free city of Mestia and

  • the Ushguli highland community, the Sairme rock pillars and

  • the mountain of nine crosses are the most

    • the colorful sightseeing spots of Svaneti and Racha

    • ,
    • as well as taking a dip in the pool over the Lailashi precipice and in the Betlemi sulfur baths

    .

This tour allows you to join the group from day 2 and finish the tour one day earlier (if you need a link to the short program, contact

    me via chat).

The group is accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide, which, believe me, is extremely rare in this region!

    Program

Day 1. Martvili and Balda canyons, waterfalls and sulfur baths
    • Meeting in Kutaisi at 9:00 a.m.

    • Today we will follow in the footsteps of ancient Colchis to one of the most unique regions of Georgia, famous for its people, language, cuisine, traditions and, of course, hospitality - Samegrelo.

    • We are waiting for:

    • the
    • medieval monastery in Martvili, where we will use an illustrative example to tell you about the transition of the local population from

    • old beliefs to Christianity.
    • The pearl of Samegrelo is Georgia's most beautiful Martvili Canyon, surrounded by many waterfalls.

    • The Balda Canyon and the Kugha and Abges waterfalls are covered by the unique Colchis forest.

    • Betlemi hot sulphur springs. An open-air natural sauna where you can steam out and cool down immediately

    • with health benefits.
    • Nokalakevi Fortress or Georgian Troy, whose history is centuries older than Tbilisi, and the Tekhuri River Canyon.

    • Lunch and dinner at the cafe for an additional fee. Breakfast on this day is not included in the tour price. Overnight accommodation at a hotel in Moscow. Zugdidi

    .
Day 2. Dadiani Palace and climbing to the mountains of free Svaneti
    • After breakfast, we will visit the palace of Samegrelo's rulers, Princes Dadiani, which houses the original death mask of Napoleon Bonaparte.

    • A famous Svan song says: If you haven't been to Svaneti, you haven't seen Georgia.

    • This is one of the most mountainous regions of the entire Caucasus, where a separate people live, speak their own language, have preserved ancient traditions, architecture, cuisine and love for freedom.

    • While climbing to Svaneti, fascinating mountain landscapes await us.

    • We will see the Inguri Hydroelectric Power Station, the largest in the Caucasus, and the emerald Ingur Reservoir.

    • We will stop at the observation decks in the mountains for relaxation and the best photos with views of waterfalls, the turbulent waters of the Inguri and the snow caps of the Svan Range.

    • By sunset, we will go up to the Heshkili observation deck with views of the snow-covered mountain range and alpine meadows.

    • We'll ride a swing hovering over the precipice and take stunning photos.

    • And then we'll go to a restaurant to get acquainted with Svan cuisine and listen to Svan songs.

    • Breakfast at the hotel. Lunch and dinner at the cafe for an additional fee. Overnight accommodation at a hotel in the village. Mestia

    .
Day 3. Chalaadi glacier, Koruldi lakes, cross over Mestia

    • The trekking route is 2.4 km with a climb of about 250 meters.
    • After lunch, we will take a jeep ride to 2750 meters above sea level to the high-mountain Koruldi lakes with alpine meadows and the snow-capped mountains around.

    • On the way, we'll stop at the very famous Mestia Observation Cross with amazing views.

    • Breakfast at the hotel. Lunch and dinner at the cafe for an additional fee. Overnight accommodation at a hotel in the village. Mestia

    .
Day 4. Ushba killer mountain, Shdugra waterfalls, Mestia
    • After breakfast, we drive to the village of Mazeri to the foot of Mount Ushba, a murderer steeped in dark legends. This two-horned beauty is the main character

    • of the local landscapes of Svaneti.
    • A difficult ascent to the grandiose Sdugra waterfalls, located on the border with Kabarda, awaits us.

    • Believe me, you will never forget the views that open from the foot of the waterfalls.

    • And for the sake of these species, it is definitely worth overcoming the difficult path to the waterfalls. The route will be 3.6 km with a height of about 500 meters (there will be two fairly steep climbs on the way). Note: Horses can be rented at an additional cost

    • .
    • After lunch, we will go to get acquainted with the local life of the free people. We will take a walk among hundreds of Svan towers and visit a traditional medieval Svan house, where nothing has changed for hundreds of years,

    • including furniture.
    • We will watch the sunset at Khatsvali, where we will go up by cable car. It offers views of one of Georgia's main peaks, our two-horned

    • Ushba.

    .
Day 5. Ushguli Highland Community and Shkhara Glacier
    • Today we will visit the small Svan village of Tsvirmi, from where you can see all the surrounding valleys and snowy peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. There will be serene silence all around, broken only by the chime of bells on the necks of cows grazing in the

    • meadows.
    • We will visit the lonely tower of love on the banks of the Inguri and hear its legend.

    • We will see the Ushguli community, which, according to some sources, is considered the highest permanent settlement in Europe, where you can try authentic Svan kubdari made from products grown in local alpine meadows overlooking Georgia's highest peak, Shkhara.

    • And we will go to the Shkhara Glacier, where the beautiful Inguri River originates.

    • The route will be about 2.6 km with a height of 300 meters.
    • We will go up to the observation deck of Tetnuldi, one of the three most famous peaks in Svaneti.

    • Breakfast at the hotel. Lunch and dinner at the cafe for an additional fee. Overnight accommodation at a hotel in the village. Lentekhi

    .
Day 6. Lower Svaneti and Racha
    • From the mountains of Lower Svaneti, we will descend through the Lechkhumi cliffs and the Racha vineyards to the Imereti Plain.

    • After collecting local mineral water, we'll start our journey through the beauty of the Lajanuri Valley and the quaint rock pillars of Sairme.

    • We'll stop in Lailashi, to the pool above the precipice, filled with invigorating spring water. Let's take unforgettable photos

    • .
    • In Racha, we will try one of the most famous and delicious Georgian Khvanchkar wines.

    • We will see Khotevi Fortress, Nikortsminda Cathedral and Lake Shaori, with an interesting name history.

    • We'll stop to admire the views from the Nakerala Pass and climb the Nine Crosses Mountain, where (depending on the weather) we will be greeted either by a sea of clouds under our feet or by the Black Sea on the horizon.

    • Our tour ends in Kutaisi at 20:00.

    • Breakfast at the hotel. Lunch at the cafe for an additional fee.

The tour is great. For active people and those in love with the mountains. If someone wants to see the most beautiful mountains for you, this is definitely the place for you! We discovered Svaneti and these are really the most beautiful mountains in the Caucasus
We were on a trip to Svaneti in Georgia.
They still don't let go of emotions. It was such an interesting, heartfelt and vivid journey.
Everything was organized at the highest level: a meeting, travel in a comfortable minivan, an excellent hotel, delicious food.
A rich program with amazing locations, landscapes and colorful songs from the Caucasus!
Special thanks to our guide Dmitry! He managed to make complete strangers a friendly team.
His stories about the culture and history of Svans will be remembered for a long time.
A person who loves and knows his job!
It was fun, easy and reliable with him!
He made us fall in love with the beauty of Svaneti, with the majestic mountains, waterfalls and glaciers. And his guitar playing at a bright sunset with views of the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains is unforgettable! Tanya, thanks for persuading us to take this tour! You were right - these are the most beautiful mountains in the Caucasus!
In autumn, Tatiana and I went to the mountains of Georgia. This is a separate world - Svaneti. We are all thrilled; our guide Dmitry spoke very interestingly and competently about Georgia and history. You can feel that he loves his country and his job, always joking. And how he plays the accordion and guitar. Our evenings were unforgettable. And mountains, of course! Words cannot express their beauty. To tears! These memories are with us forever! Thank you Tanya for this fantastic route and an unforgettable vacation! Our family wishes you good health, good luck in everything, prosperity and prosperity to all of you!
You guys are the best!!! Thanks for the competent organization of the tour. Thank you Buba, for the humor, the songs and, of course, for your incredible patience. It was incredibly interesting and fun. I was also amazed how the tour organizers kept all their promises. It so happened that I was alone in a group that booked a tour not for 6 days, but for 4 days. And my program was the only one who had a trip to the cave city of Uplistsikhe. And I'm ALONE! took me to this location. And the band came in just super, super. It was a great pleasure for me to travel with such a team to the beautiful country of Georgia. I remember that we are kunaks now, and of course I hope to see you on other trips.
