Complain about the tour

Nepal is the roof of the world, home to the highest point on planet Earth. The route to the Gokjö lakes is grossly underestimated. It also allows you to see Sagarmatha (the Nepali name for Everest), as well as other eight-thousandth giants: Makalu, Lotze, Cho-Oyo, and even all of them together. This route can also be used as a good and interesting acclimatization before climbing the 6,000 meters, which we also chose as unpopular, uncomplicated and allowing us to see 5 eight-thousand meters

at once.

On this trip, we will have an unforgettable experience: we will touch the highest mountains in the World, climb Gokjö Ri 5360 m or Mera Peak 6478 m, see 4 or 5 eight-thousand meters at once, as well as many different incredible high-mountain lakes, experience the breath of glaciers, visit non-pop places, watch mountain sunrises and sunsets, enjoy the bright starry skies, we will fly by plane and helicopter in the mountains more than once, we will explore several UNESCO sites in mysterious Kathmandu, we will visit Namche Bazar, the capital of the Sherpas, we will feel free, we will be filled with energy in places of power, we will walk along long suspension bridges, we will spend some time in the shoes of climbers on expeditions to Mera Peak, and much more

. The

Himalayas have never left anyone indifferent, and no one comes back as before. Especially after long expeditions and climbs to serious mountains! The most incredible two/three weeks of your life are waiting for you, full of adventures, vivid emotions and grandiose views. Here you will become a real traveler, not just a tourist!

Ps An additional ascent to Mera Peak is discussed in person. All the details are in there.

  • Climb the top of Gokjö Ri 5360 m for an incredible panorama of the Himalayas, with one of the best views of Everest
  • Climb to Mera Peak at 6478 m, a true Himalayan 6,000 meters, for an even more serious panorama
  • You'll see 4 or 5 eight-thousand meters at once
  • Visit Cho-Oyo 8000 Base Camp 5250 m
  • Overnight in a tent at Mera Peak High Camp at 5800 meters
  • Fly by helicopter in the Himalayas! With Measure Peak twice!
  • See 5 or 6 fantastic different mountain lakes
  • You will visit places of power
  • Fly to the Himalayas by plane and see them in all their glory from a bird's-eye view
  • You will overcome yourself in camping conditions
  • See all climate zones from jungles to snowy mountains
  • See the clearest mountain night sky with millions of stars and the Milky Way
  • You will see turquoise rivers, waterfalls, and in general the amazing nature of the Himalayas
  • You will visit the ancient medieval settlements of the Himalayas
  • Immerse yourself in the local people's unique authentic Buddhist culture
  • You will find close people in spirit, maybe you will remain friends
  • See Kathmandu's many UNESCO heritage sites

The adventure involves walking a 90 km long trek to the Gokjö Lakes. This includes access to all five lakes, Cho-Oyo base camp and climbing to Gokyo Ri

.

We will climb one of the highest peaks in the world, which can be reached on foot without climbing training - Gokjö Ri 5360 m. We will spend the night high in the mountains and snow, on the shore of a mountain lake at an altitude of 4,750 meters. We will see the crystal clear mountain night sky.

The peak measure is + 50 km. We will climb the highest mountain, which can be reached without training, by as much as 6,478 meters! It's not easy, but it's not difficult either. It is desirable to have previous experience in the mountains. We will spend the night in a comfortable tent at a high camp at an altitude of 5800 meters.

We fly to the mountains by plane twice, and even once by helicopter (with Mera Peak even the second time)! We will see the Himalayas in all its glory

from the window.

We will walk through all climatic zones and see unreal nature that will change day by day - this is the main highlight of the route.

We will see, touch and immerse ourselves in local culture. Let us become imbued with Buddhism.

We'll have an epic adventure for two or three weeks. This will be remembered for a lifetime. We'll take thousands of amazing photos as a keepsake.

Program

Day 1. Kathmandu

We'll meet you at Kathmandu Airport. Then transfer to our hotel. A sightseeing tour of the most interesting sights, all of them UNESCO cultural heritage sites.

In the evening, the last preparations and the purchase of everything missing.

Dinner at the café and discuss the details of our trip.

Ps About Measure Peak, write to LS, I'll tell you all the details.

Day 2. Kathmandu - Lukla - Montjo

An amazing flight awaits us in the morning. A small plane will take us over the Himalayas to Lukla Airport at an altitude of 2850 m.

Right from the airport, we start walking to the entrance gate to Sagarmatha National Park. The path winds from coast to coast, and we will cross many suspension bridges. The route is surrounded by dense groves of magnolias and rhododendrons.

We spend the night in Montjo at an altitude of 2850 m.

The

flight is 20 minutes. The crossing is 12 km. The height difference is 340 m.

Day 3. Montjo - Namche Bazar

We start the day with a grand entrance through Sagarmatha Gate.

The trail crosses Hilary's famous double suspension bridge. Let's climb a steep mountain range, from where you can see Everest for the first time in the capital of the region and Sherpas, Namche Bazaar. Here you can get the feeling that you're back in civilization

.

We spend the night in Namche at an altitude of 3450 m.

The crossing is 5 km, the height difference is +600 m.

Day 4. Namche Bazar

We walk around Namche Bazar and undergo the first necessary acclimatization.

We will visit the famous Everetst view Hotel and have a coffee there with incredible views of the entire valley led by Everest. We will visit the authentic village of Kumjung, a local monastery. We will also go up to the stupa on the hill.

We spend the night in Namche at an altitude of 3450 m.

The crossing is 8 km, the height difference is 550 m.

Day 5. Namche Bazar - Dole

We will walk along the most picturesque and photographed part of the route to Everest Base Camp.

At the moment, we turn to the Gokje Lake Valley, where there are many fewer tourists, where you can freely breathe in the clean mountain pine air and enjoy the Himalayan landscapes almost alone.

We spend the night in Dole at an altitude of 4050 m.

The crossing is 12 km, the height difference is +600 m.

Day 6. Dole - Gokyo

Today we see how blooming landscapes will be replaced by more severe alpine landscapes before our eyes, but they will be no less beautiful and mysterious. We will also watch how yaks slowly pinch grass on mountain pastures.

We will watch the sunset already on the shore of the fantastic Lake Gokjö.

We spend the night in Gokjö at an altitude of 4750 m.

The crossing is 12 km, the height difference is 700 m.

Day 7. Gokyo

On this day, we plan to acclimatize radial access through all Gokyo lakes to the 8,000-meter Cho-Oyo base camp to an altitude of 5200 m.

Along the way, in the surrounding mountains, you begin to notice the real scale of the Himalayas.

We also spend the night in Gokjö at an altitude of 4750 m.

The crossing is 10 km, the height difference is 450 m.

Day 8. Gokyo - Gokyo Ri - Macermo
The

culminating day of our entire journey has come - climbing the real Himalayan 5,000-meter Gokyo Ri 5360 m. From its peak, we will enjoy a grand sunrise panorama of the roof of the World. We'll see 4 8,000 meters at once (Everest, Lotze, Makala and Cho-Oyo)!

After spending enough time at the top, we go down to Gokjö for lunch and continue our descent.

Before our eyes, the realm of snow and stones gives way to first vegetation, and shrubs and moss appear. On the way back, we will discover new landscapes that we did not see when we went upstairs.

We spend the night in Macermo at an altitude of 4400 m.

The crossing is 10 km, the height difference is +610 m/ -960 m.

Day 9. Macermo - Namche Bazar

We continue to descend lower and lower, find ourselves in the green coniferous kingdom, pass by familiar landscapes, but when you go down, mountain views are perceived in a completely different way.

We enjoy Himalayan landscapes and well-being. We descend into warmth and civilization

.

We will spend the night at a comfortable altitude in Namche Bazar of 3450 m.

The crossing is 16 km, the height difference is 950 m.

Day 10. Namche Bazar - Lukla - Kathmandu

In the morning, we will have a great coffee at the most famous coffee shop in Namche, Sherpa Barista. Then we go up to the helipad, where we wait for our helicopter

.

We will overcome the rather difficult section of Namche Bazar Lukla in 20 km, in just 10 minutes. If you haven't flown a helicopter before, then it's hard to describe the emotions of flying, and even in the Himalayas

.

Immediately after arriving in Lukla, we will have another flight, but this time by plane to Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have a gala dinner to mark the successful completion of the pedestrian section

.

We will spend the night at a very comfortable altitude of 1400 m.

Day 11. Kathmandu (spare day)

A day of rest in Kathmandu.

In the event of bad weather or other force majeure, this day could be the day of flights to Kathmandu.

In the evening, a gala dinner awaits us to mark the successful completion of our journey!

Day 12. Kathmandu

The journey to the Gokyo lakes is over.

Travelers fly home filled with the unique atmosphere of the Himalayas.

Flight home.

A comment from the tour leader
Of course, you can only go trekking Without climbing, but you can't climb without trekking, as the track is acclimatization before climbing. You can fly to/from the mountains by plane, as well as an additional helicopter flight, which are already included in the price! These flights are already interesting adventures in themselves and will be remembered for a long time. Our groups are small, with a maximum of 10 people, we will spend the night in local settlements, in rooms (double accommodation). There will be 8 or 12 settlements on our route. The distance between them is about 10-15 km, the total distance of the track is 90 km. Mera Peak climb + 50 km. The route can be modified or adjusted, taking into account possible circumstances. The trekking difficulty level is medium. You don't need to be an athlete to successfully complete the track; it's enough to lead an active lifestyle. The difficulty level of climbing is high. You need to prepare for the climb and preferably already have experience in the mountains. But in Nepal, this mountain is considered simple (trekking), that is, there are no sections on the entire route where you will have to go mountaineering or rock climbing. On the way, each village will have a fairly developed infrastructure, including loggias with their own cafes. Therefore, there is no need to carry a tent and a two-week supply of food. A smooth, well-thought-out climb, acclimatization and targeted prophylaxis with pills against mountain sickness virtually eliminates the possibility of getting sick with mountain sickness. The rest of the risks are covered by health insurance. You will also be constantly accompanied by guides who will warn you of any dangers.

We were very pleased with the trip: the organizer thought through the program efficiently and was attentive to any questions that arose during the trip. I liked the acclimatization plan and the overall travel schedule; I liked the accommodation that was chosen for us - these are very comfortable conditions for the mountains. The very climb to Gokya is a way to leave with a sense of achievement, in addition, Alexey constantly gave us gifts for our achievements and just like that)) I liked the atmosphere in the team, the helicopter was also cool! In general, I recommend it from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely think that this tour is the best thing you can choose to “try” the Himalayas.
This was the best trip or even adventure I've been on so far! Just imagine... Be surrounded by the highest mountains... Everything came together here - amazing places and incomprehensible mountains, a cool positive team and a cool organizer who is in love with his job and has thought through everything to the smallest detail:)

Well, 3 dreams came true for me: flying by helicopter, climbing 5,000 meters and, of course, seeing 8,000 meters led by Everest! And all this in ease and in a wonderful environment) I think I was very lucky to have the organizer I chose for this trip) Thank you very much!
This journey was a real discovery, both for the body and for the soul. The route to Lake Gokyo turned out to be not just a trekking trip, but an adventure among the majestic Himalayas. October is the best time: the sky is clear, visibility is excellent, the weather is stable and cool, but not cold.
To anyone who wants to conquer the Nepalese mountains, I highly recommend this climb!

The almost two weeks we spent together with Lesha were incredible! Every day, unrealistic landscapes, overcoming yourself and great company!

I can't say that hiking in the mountains is very easy, but if your heart really wants it, then you will definitely make it to the end!

Climbing is when you have already decided for yourself what you need and don't understand why! This is what helps you rethink life and fall in love with tracking.

Lyosha is responsible; all our difficult tracking supported us: mentally, physically, with magic pills for mountain sickness. All the problems and difficulties that arose were solved on the spot and promptly. It was with his help that we all made it to the very end! For your understanding, our group was made up of only girls and not everyone had experience climbing!

As for the conditions - bed, food, electricity, internet, hot water - there were always, but almost everything was over the bed and there were sockets in the sleeping room
- usually paid.

They say everything that needs to be purchased in advance; Alexey even recommended specific brands based on our budget. But even for those who didn't have time to buy everything, they quickly arranged a personal shopping experience!

As for the miner, everything is very individual; it is possible to understand what symptoms there will be and whether they will be at all only by fact. Of course, a miner is unpleasant, but you shouldn't be afraid. But as a last resort, there is always insurance that you need to purchase.

Go for it!
It was a great success for me to find Alexey. During the long search, my heart prompted me; I had no doubts. During the trip, I was in the mood to live certain emotions and conditions. I got more.

What is especially valuable to me is that I did not experience any difficulties due to my communication difficulties. On the contrary, they seemed to have disappeared. It was easy and comfortable, without a sense of distance.

The route is amazing for its breathtaking change of heights and landscapes. It takes your breath away not only on the climax of the Gokjö Ri ascent, but every minute you are in the Himalayas. I can't tell you how much I wanted to go to Mera Peak with other participants, although I initially didn't have the opportunity and strong desire to do so.

I absolutely recommend choosing Alexey,
it helps me live the experience I want to repeat. Competent, caring, tactful and inviting from the moment I met. I felt supported and stable, and most importantly enjoyed what was happening under the guidance of such a dedicated person. 🌞
Lyosha, thank you for this incredible dive into the Himalayas!
During this journey, I once again realized how important a good organizer is. The person the whole team is following.
The Everest Base Camp trek is my second trip to Nepal and an old dream!
I will definitely go again! I left the Himalayas, but the Himalayas are now forever in my heart.
And then for some reason I thought.. As they say, “it's important to find your own master, teacher...” And I'll add - “it's important to find someone with whom traveling becomes an incredible adventure”
I, and I think everyone, am inspired by people who are passionate about what they do. They literally make you fall in love with what they do themselves.
Lyosha, you showed us the real beauty of the mountains. All household inconveniences and cold have faded into the background. They were overshadowed by the inspiration and joy of seeing and touching eternal beauty and strength.
I would also like to note the thoughtfulness of the route.
11 days of trekking and the climax of 5646 are no joke. And I must say that before I left, I was worried that something would go wrong. And it will let you down (there were some back problems and chronic sinusitis). But surprisingly, everything that bothered us in Moscow evaporated into the mountains!
Proper climbing, overnight stays and acclimatization exits. A clear system, multiplied by a cool positive attitude, left no chance of mountain sickness.
Special attention was paid to each person and their condition. So we started supporting each other ourselves if something bothered us.
This is probably called the team's “internal climate”) But this is my second time traveling with Alexey and the previous team was also amazing.
This is the first time I've fit into such tours. I've always traveled alone or with students.
But if you repeat this to the mountains or the other end of the world, then only with Alexey!
