Join our 6 Days /5 Nights tour to experience the excellent Kenya Wildlife game viewing in the heart of the wild, the Jungle Amboseli, Maasai Mara National Game Reserve, and Lake Nakuru National Park. You will also visit the Maasai tribe and experience their culture.

  • Witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration: Depending on the timing of your trip, you may be able to witness one of the most incredible natural events in the world - the Great Wildebeest Migration. Millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass, and the sight of so many animals moving en masse is truly breathtaking.
  • Meeting Maasai tribespeople: The Maasai people are a proud and ancient tribe who have inhabited East Africa for centuries. Many Maasai still live traditional lifestyles, herding cattle and living in small villages. A visit to a Maasai village can provide a fascinating glimpse into their culture, as well as an opportunity to purchase traditional crafts.
  • Game drives in Maasai Mara: Maasai Mara is one of the most famous game reserves in the world, and for good reason. The park is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and many more. A game drive in Maasai Mara is a thrilling experience that you'll never forget.
  • Watching flamingos at Lake Nakuru: Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its large flocks of pink flamingos, which flock to the shallow lake to feed on algae. The sight of so many flamingos in one place is unforgettable, and the park is also home to many other species of birds, as well as rhinos, zebras, and other animals.
  • Elephant sightings in Amboseli: Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, which can often be seen wandering across the park against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. A game drive in Amboseli provides a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures.

Important information

Tour preparation

SAFARI CLOTHING:

We recommend that you bring casual summer clothes that are easy to launder and quick to dry. Go for neutral colours that do not reflect the heat and do not show the inevitable safari dust. With cool mornings and evenings, layering is suggested. Laundry service is available in most safari lodges and tented camps which can help you replenish your supply of clean clothing, as you need it. Much of the time on safari is spent in the vehicle so lightweight and comfortable walking shoes are appropriate. The style is casual – even in the evening. For Dinner in Nairobi and at the Mount Kenya Safari Club, dress is smart casual. You will be in the sun a great deal and at these altitudes it is easy to sunburn very quickly. Pack a swimsuit and cover-up, as most of the safari accommodations have swimming pools.

SAFARI & ROADS IN KENYA :

All major Kenyan roads are tarred. However, road surfaces vary depending on remoteness from Nairobi city and sometimes due to regular maintenance. Rain may also affect the state of roads. Many roads within the National Parks and game reserves are quite navigable. Driving times on Kenyan roads vary from one safari point to another and are approximate. They vary depending on traffic and road conditions.

CREDIT CARDS :

Credit cards Kenya: Most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express) are widely accepted. In addition to credit cards, it is advisable to carry easily convertible currency in cash. USD currency is readily accepted in many local outlets and can also easily be exchanged for Kenya shillings

ACCOMMODATION ON SAFARI :

Safari hotels/ lodges/ tented camps are carefully chosen and are named on the safari itinerary/program. The choices are unique and add flavour/ romance to your safari tour. They are comfortable and sufficiently luxurious. They vary from economy, comfort, superior comfort (applies for Masai Mara accommodation), and luxury options. Luxury lodges blend nicely with the landscape and have rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel. Tented camps are on permanent foundations and have en-suite bathrooms. The amenities can include hot water bottles to warm your bed before you turn in, coffee, tea and hot chocolate served in your tent as part of your early morning wake-up call. Except for the tree lodges, most other lodges and camps in economy, comfort & luxury options have swimming pools.

DRINKING WATER & BOTTLED DRINKS:

Avoid drinking water straight from the tap. Complimentary bottled drinking water will be provided in the safari vehicle -there shall be a cooler box in your private safari car Soft drinks, beer and other bottled beverages can be purchased at the lodges and camps throughout the safari as they have bars and comfortable lounges with fireplaces for those cool evenings. Tea or coffee is served after meals.

SUGGESTED PACKING ON A SAFARI:

It is advisable to spread packing between you and your partner's suitcases. This is in case of loss of luggage –(in case you are travelling together) All the important items and information should be carried in your hand luggage: passport, visa, airfare, insurance, credit cards, money and prescriptions if necessary. You should carry information about your specific health condition plus malaria pills, any lifesaving medication (diabetics), anything used to treat allergies or a sudden stomach upset (maybe Imodium) and analgesic aspirin should all be kept accessible to you. Any expensive electrical equipment, such as a camera or computer should be well looked after. Please note that all use, import and production of plastic bags, such as those we know from supermarkets, etc., is prohibited in Kenya. We therefore recommend that you avoid using plastic bags when packing your luggage. Use fabric bags instead, or bags made of a waterproof material other than plastic. If, for example, you are visibly carrying hand luggage in plastic bags upon your arrival in Kenya, you will be asked to hand them in. This also includes plastic bags from “Duty-Free”, etc. On light aircraft flights in Kenya, the baggage allowance is limited to a maximum of 15 Kilograms, including camera and video equipment. Any additional luggage can be stored at the hotel in Nairobi until the end of the safari. Extra luggage is charged at $ 5 per kilogram and depends on space availability and weight Luggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. For your peace of mind, baggage insurance is recommended.

PHOTOGRAPHY / EQUIPMENT ON SAFARI

A digital Camera made during the last several years is good for taking excellent Wildlife and Landscape photographs, It does not need to be the most expensive camera to take good pictures on your Kenya Holiday Safari. Getting good safari photos is more about practice, focus and concentration than having an expensive camera/gadget A (digital Single Lens Reflex) DSLR Camera with interchangeable lenses is a good option during a Safari Tour. Good lenses for African wildlife photos fall in the range of 200-400mm, while those intending to make landscape or animal shots in their wild environment should consider bringing a wider angle lens in the range of 24-100mm. A video camera if available is a welcome gadget during safari, you may have it already in your DSLRs as a built-in extra. Safari Tours are in remote areas so bring plenty of batteries and a charger in case you run out of power! Bring plenty of cleaning equipment like cleaning cloths and a blower brush as Cameras get dirty quickly in the dusty safari environment. Plenty of memory cards are necessary too – safari adventure is exciting and you may take more shots than you had anticipated A pair of binoculars is essential to view the birds and animals at a distance. The best size is 8/10 x 40 they only need to be of good quality

Suggested equipment List for Safari

Good afternoon!
When planning a trip to Kenya with my husband, we realized that we couldn't go on a safari on our own, so we decided to find a tour. Tickets to Kenya were purchased in advance, so we were interested in specific dates. I went through all the tours inside and out, but nothing fit. I saw Bernard's Safari tour and just wrote to see if I could find a tour. And that's what happened! Not knowing English, but Bernard did not know Russian, we understood each other very well through an interpreter. Bernard offered a travel option, with conditions, a great program and a suitable price. It so happened that there was no one else on our dates, but Bernard undertook to organize our trip on a turnkey basis. It turned out to be an individual tour) Cool.

We visited national parks, saw the Big Seven and many other animals and birds, enjoyed the beautiful African sunrises, and in general, we enjoyed the trip as much as possible.

The reserves are located at very long distances from each other, but since we traveled in a comfortable car, the trips went well. The water in the car was cool during the entire trip, and stops were logically planned.
The souvenir photos turned out to be wonderful.

I definitely recommend tours with Bernadre!
Our 6-day trip with Bernard and his crew was amazing.
This was our first safari so seeing animals in the wild was like a dream come true!
The program was well organized and the guides were very helpful even in solving some personal issues (my luggage was lost).
The accommodation made it possible to live in nature, but it was very comfortable.

We fell in love with safari thanks to Benard and his team and are already planning to continue exploring Africa!
It's no exaggeration to say the best trip of my life. The organization is at its best. Despite some unexpected nuances, the car door broke, everything went great. Freddy's driver drives the car perfectly. Bernard has a great approach to tourists, helped get a visa, and took him to the giraffe center. I met you at the airport. The food was quite tasty, beef, chicken, mostly watermelons made from fruits. I was a little tired at the end. Accommodation according to the program: the lodge in Amboselli is super, giraffes walk when leaving, baboons are rushing. Nestle Lodge has tents in the Masai Mara Lodge, electricity is turned off in the evening, there are no shampoos and shower gels. At night. Hyenas howl.
I recommend tours with Bernardo.
One of the best adventures in our life. a lot of positive emotions, a wonderful guide Benard, a wonderful, attentive driver, a well-thought-out route, cozy lodges, indescribably beautiful Kenya. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart! this is an adventure you will remember for a lifetime
To anyone who is thinking about choosing a safari tour, I definitely recommend Benard. Everything was well organized and logical in terms of visiting parks (in terms of distance from each other).
I recommend bringing warm clothes with you, as it was quite cold in the morning (we went on 22.07), and the first camp, which is in Masai Mara, was cool to sleep at night.
Out of the big five, we didn't see only a leopard; it was replaced by a cheetah).
Many thanks to our driver, he always knew where to stand up so that we could see and where there was a high probability of seeing lions, and he was also just a super positive guy who was comfortable and fun with even late in the evening when the navigator wasn't working and we couldn't find our way to the hotel 😀
We had a Russian-speaking guide, Arau. A wonderful girl who solved all our issues, checked into a hotel, negotiated discounts, and so on.

I agree with the previous comments about food and its variety, but in general, we had enough and weren't hungry. Well, we didn't go there for plenty of food.

All in all, we would like to thank Benard and the whole team for our unforgettable trip to Kenya. We wish you prosperity and lots of tourists.
Katya and Andrey. July 2025
This is the best trip of my life!!! I've dreamed of going on a real Safari all my life. The only problem was that I was going to go alone, especially since I'm a young girl, it was very scary to trust someone, pay that kind of money and go to a not very safe country. But only when I got there, all my worries were immediately dispelled. Benard listened to me every day and answered all my questions in detail. He also helped book a hotel and organized a transfer from airport to hotel, since I arrived the day before the tour started, I booked alone on this site, so me joined the other guys with the same program I was very lucky to have the guys, despite the fact that we are from different countries, it was a lot of fun and cool So don't be afraid to travel alone Our best driver Wilson, who accompanied us throughout the tour Thank you so much to him It feels like I've never got tired after a long drive on terrible roads, was always positive, talked about everything, answered all the questions Tips I can give you: look carefully at which hotel you are being checked into and compare it with what you have written on the waybill, which Your guide sent you. Everyone may have different hotels and the organization suffers a little bit in this regard, because no one will care for you whether you are accommodated there or not It's cool enough in the mornings, you could use a couple of warm clothes, one pair of shoes was enough for me, more socks because we rode barefoot in this jeep, socks go straight to the wash after every day. I took a flashlight with me, turned on the red light that repels flying insects, the guys took a mosquito canopy with them, some hotels didn't have it, and I think you need it everywhere We also needed masks in one reserve. It was very dusty, our nose immediately clogged, not a very pleasant pleasure. I really needed advice from those who were there, I I was looking for people on Instagram on my own who went on this tour, so I can make your life easier, write, I'll be happy to tell you everything in more detail
All the reviews here are plausible, I don't see the point in adding anything about electricity, electricity and other There was a lot of food, but in recent days we ate lunch boxes on the run, they are not very varied, yoghurt banana chicken I didn't mind it either, I took food with me, and no one forbids you to buy food and eat wherever you want Souvenirs are cheaper to buy in Nairobi, on those islands where the driver brings prices are very high They only help me bargain and it's more expensive than in town. I had all day before departure at the end of the tour, Benard took me downtown I also asked them to take giraffes to the supermarket for souvenirs. I helped me choose coffee, went to the souvenir market with me because I'm a little afraid without it. And I also gave me his company's signature bottle, it pleasantly surprised me. Anyway, Benard is a wonderful person. You will definitely be satisfied with this trip!
This is a great tour for those who love animals and are interested in their life in the wild. There are a lot of animals and you can see them right next to each other (including lions, elephants, and rhinos) and it's incredible! We saw cheetah hunting, mating games, caring for cubs, active animals and vacationers... A safari in Kenya is, in my opinion, the best I've ever been to (I went on safaris in Botswana and Namibia). However, when choosing this tour, you should be prepared for daily early climbs, long journeys (5-10 hours a day) in not very comfortable vehicles on completely broken roads or asphalt but completely clogged trucks. As for accommodation, 2 nights in a tent in Masai Mara were not very comfortable (there was not always hot water, the toilet was broken, the lights were out, and there was no normal wifi). You should also be prepared for the fact that you will not have a Russian-speaking guide, and this can be a big problem without at least a minimum of English. If these difficulties do not scare you, then I can safely recommend this tour. You will enjoy watching animals in the wild and learn a lot about their lives. I would also like to thank Benard for his excellent work in organizing the tour, for his help in obtaining a visa, for his daily attention during the tour, for his responsibility and wish him continued success in his work!
We visited Kenya in September and it was right. In our opinion, this is an ideal time, as there is no rain or heat, and it is quite comfortable all day (warm clothes were not useful).
By far, this is our most unusual journey, full of vivid emotions from meeting animals in their familiar environment. But I would like to draw your attention to some features that you just need to be prepared for:
1. There are huge distances between locations. The journey takes 5-6 hours, and the roads in Kenya are not the best, to put it mildly. It is likely that it will be difficult for children and people with a weak vestibular system.
2. No one speaks Russian, so at least basic knowledge of English is necessary
3. Be prepared for humble conditions and early climbs every day
4. Be sure to bring along a type G socket adapter.
Benard made our trip a memorable one, and we could feel his care and involvement. We saw all the animals we wanted, took a lot of cool photos and got a lot of vivid impressions!
The most amazing trip of a lifetime! Everything was perfect: organization, animals, lodges and camps! I'm very happy that I chose to tour with Benard. He was always in touch, made us a very cool offer with an individual tour, took into account all our wishes, even chose and booked the hotels I wanted. As a result, we got the perfect private tour with the best guide in the world, much cheaper than Russian travel agencies offered.
We were completely immersed in the wild, we saw all the animals! Our guide was always on alert; we didn't miss any savannah events: we watched predators hunt several times, saw a cheetah with kittens, lions, crocodiles and rhinos, incredibly beautiful giraffes, and many more!
Even big trips didn't exhaust us; everything was very comfortable and customer-oriented. They left crying.
I highly recommend Benard and his agency to everyone, thank the guys for the unforgettable emotions and for the best birthday in the world that the guys gave me! Special thanks to our incredible guide Joseph, who is a savannah genius!
I was in Kenya on February 7-12, 2024 with the Benard O team. Great tour, great organization. I visited three parks under the program; I've never seen so many animals and birds. It was very interesting to observe the behavior of animals and birds at rest and when predators or elephants appeared. I advise you to note that you will be on the move from 6 a.m. to 4 - 5 p.m. You will be constantly busy watching animals and birds, there are a lot of them. When visiting Masai Mara Park, the living conditions are very simple but clean, you should understand that you will not see real wildlife behind the comfortable windows. There, the park's animals will graze almost behind the fence, and at night, you may hear their voices. Thanks to Benard, Simon (translator, nature expert) driver for the trip and many interesting stories about Kenya. I would like to note that I first tried to go to Kenya with a Russian tour expert. But there's such a story: the price of the announced tour is constantly increasing in the process of dialogue and the approach of the trip. Benard arranged the tour for the money that was originally announced and didn't change prices even when it turned out I was alone. If you wish, bring along a light, good pair of binoculars; the guys have them, but if there are 5-6 people in the group, it's better to have your own and have something to see. Leave one day to visit Nairobi, I flew away right away and didn't see the Capital, and now I regret it. Thanks again for a great trip.
