You will
experience everything you wanted to see but were afraid to go with your child on our tour. We have developed a tour specifically for families with children, where it will be interesting for adults and not very tiring for children.
We paid special attention to safety during the tour. Throughout the route, we will be accompanied by a professional driver in a comfortable luxury minibus and a fun certified guide with experience working with children in mountainous areas.

Program
Day 1. Khunzakh, Matlas, Irganay reservoir
The family tour to Dagestan starts at 8.30-9.00 on the first day of the tour. We recommend arriving the day before. Comfortable group accommodation is available (at extra charge).
The first day of the tour is one of our tourists' favorite days. At 8.30-9.00, the group is picked up by a guide by minibus. We get to know each other and go to the highest point of our family trip.
We will pass through the longest tunnel in Russia, the Gimrinsky Tunnel. We'll stop by a local master. He will show us a master class on Untsukul cutting. Adults will be able to purchase original handmade souvenirs. Here, for the first time, our tourists will learn what real Dagestan hospitality is. The master will invite us to his table in Dagestan traditions.
Then we go to Khunzah, the capital of the Avar Kingdom.
The next point is a walk along Matlas to the Stone Bowl, one of the most beautiful gorges in Dagestan.
The highlight of this day will be finding a treasure for younger tourists. Just let it come as a surprise to them
?In the evening we check into the comfortable rooms of the guest house. We have dinner and enjoy the mountain air in the evening
. Day 2. Gamsutl, Choh, Salta
After breakfast, get ready for a walk to Gamsutl, an abandoned high-mountain ghost village. The mountain UAZ will take you as close as possible to the path and we will have to cover a distance of about an hour on foot, where the Caucasian Machu Picchu will also be delighted at the end. A surprise at the top has been prepared for the kids
After the descent, we will visit the village of Chokh, one of the oldest settlements in Dagestan and Russia, where houses are built on top of each other. We have lunch with local residents
.The next incredibly beautiful location, another of the wonders of Dagestan, is the mysterious Salta Falls. The only underground waterfall in Dagestan. We will definitely go down to the lowland and take photos if the weather permits.
!! Depending on weather conditions, the climb to Gamsutl may be replaced by a visit to another abandoned
Day 3. Sulak canyon, Chirkey reservoir
After breakfast, we will go to the Chirkey Reservoir, the largest reservoir in Dagestan with incredible landscapes and turquoise waters. A boat trip through the most beautiful gorges awaits us. Those interested will be able to swim directly from the boat.
Then we will have a photo stop at the Sulak Canyon observation deck, the hallmark of Dagestan and one of the deepest canyons in the world, and lunch near the Sulak River.
A visit to the most tourist complex in the mountains of Dagestan - Glavryba. We'll have a little time to feed trout, ride the kids on rides and walk around the beautiful grounds.
We will definitely walk across the suspension bridge over the gorge over the Sulak River, which is accessed through the recently opened Nohyo Cave.
Next, we go to Sarykum dune. A unique natural monument of Dagestan, which is officially recognized by geologists as the second largest in the world.
Day 4. Makhachkala, Derbent, Naryn-Kala
After breakfast, we go on a tour of Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan. We will see Juma Mosque, one of the largest in Russia and Europe. She is known as the white sister of Istanbul's Blue Mosque. We will take a walk along the embankment and drive towards Derbent.
Today, get ready to dive into the history of Russia's oldest city. Pillae Caspiae is the Caspian Gate, as the ancient Romans and Greeks called Derbent. We will visit the Naryn-Kala citadel, a symbol of Derbent.
We will take a walk through the Old Town, wander through the narrow streets (magals), where we will see another oldest mosque in Russia - the Juma Mosque, the Maiden Baths, and the southernmost lighthouse.We check into a hotel and relax.
Day 5. Ekranoplan Lun, waterfront, oriental bazaar
After breakfast, we leave for the Caspian Sea, walk along the waterfront, stretch our legs on the beach and admire the world's only unique warship, the Lun ekranoplane. We take a photo near the heir to the Caspian monster.
Next, we will take a historical walk around the city and visit the Eastern Bazaar, where you can buy souvenirs and gifts.
A farewell dinner will take place in one of the best atmospheric restaurants in Derbent. After lunch, transfer to the airport or hotel if you decide to continue your vacation in Dagestan.
We recommend staying in Dagestan near the sea during the warm season. We recommend hotels, recreation centers, apartments

Cancellation terms
Cancellation 14 days or less before the start of the author tour - prepayment is not refundable. In other cases, a refund minus the RFP (actual costs incurred), but not less than 15% of the tour price.
In case of force majeure, 100% prepayment is transferred without penalties to other dates. The exact IPR is calculated individually in each case and depends on the specific program and the services included in it.
Guest requirements
In mountainous areas and religious sites, all tour participants are asked to wear clothes that cover their shoulders, chest and knees. Not transparent, not tight

Do I need to pay full amount at once?
The amount of prepayment is determined by the Travel Expert and is indicated on the tour page. For the majority of tours standard prepayment does not exceed 50% of the tour price. If you have any difficulties with payment, please contact the customer service.

Natalya, let me once again thank you and Oksana for our wonderful trip to Dagestan. This was the first time we were in Dagestan, and for the first time we took part in a tour with a “childish twist” We really liked it! Oksana not only showed us the beauty of Dagestan, but also surrounded both children and us adults with care and warmth, which was especially valuable for tourists from cold November Moscow 🙂 Children did not get bored for a second All the most physically difficult routes were accompanied by interesting activities, endless gifts and awards Children never whined, did not hang on adults, but happily ran to the goal, because Oksana's treasure was ahead even on the way to the airport, I took children: everyone solved puzzles Even adults took part As a result, adults rested all week, although traveled with children 🙂 To the question: “What did you like about our trip?” the children answered: “That's it!!!”
Special thanks for catering! It was well organized. We just didn't have time to get hungry! Personally, I really enjoyed the two lunches at the local residents' homes: it added so much color to our trip! Delicious homemade food+the opportunity to communicate closely with indigenous Dagestanis Lunch in the mountainous village of Chokh turned out to be unforgettable for its extraordinary location and the picturesque nature of the surrounding nature, and such an honored master as Magomedali and his art showed us and so received and fed us in his home that we saw firsthand the famous Caucasian hospitality 🙂 Special thanks for the farewell dinner: they ate so much that they could not breathe, and even got a mountain with them on the plane. Children also never stayed hungry (although in real life they can be picky about eating) They always had something to eat, because the organizers never forgot about them and periodically brought the menu for discussion Oksana also prepared all sorts of goodies for them during the trip

Every day was busy and different from the previous one. I went on a trip with Natalya for the first time. To be honest I did not expect so many emotions. Not only from a new place, from what we saw, but also from the way our tour was planned. Everything was thought out in detail. The excellent guide, hearty places to eat... there was not a single nuance to complain. The company was interesting. Cheerful cheerful people. I now do not want to go on regular tours. Such emotions sitting on the beach near the hotel will never get. Thank you for the trip!
