1 Day
In the morning, we leave Yerevan towards the Khor Virap Monastery, where we will learn about the history of this Armenian church and see an unforgettable panorama of Mount Ararat, the symbol of Armenia. Then we'll head south and visit the Areni cave complex founded by primitive people, where the world's oldest leather boot was found. In this area, we will also visit a winery and stop for a tasting of endemic Armenian wines. There will be an opportunity to have a delicious lunch with our Armenian cuisine and shop
for wine.In the afternoon, we will continue further south to Tatev Monastery, one of the most famous in Armenia, to which the last leg of the journey takes you by one of the longest cable cars in the world. A visit to Tatev Monastery is an unforgettable experience. In the evening we will arrive for dinner and rest at our beautifully located hotel
.Day 2
In the morning, after breakfast, we'll start by visiting the old cave town of Khndzoresk, which is reached via a long suspension bridge, where we are sure to take memorable photos. After visiting the city, we will continue to meet the Shaki waterfall, one of the most beautiful creations of Armenian nature. Moving from the Shaki Falls, we will head north. Lunch will be waiting for us at the Eghegis rock walls, from where you can enjoy views of the mountainous terrain.
The next step was to go to Noravank Monastery, hidden among the red rocks of the Areni region. The monastery deserves special attention, as it is located in a very picturesque gorge, among the red mountains. This area is also a refuge for listed bezoar goats. If you're a little lucky
