Complain about the tour

This is not a classic gallop sightseeing tour, but a thoughtful journey in which Turkey reveals itself gradually — in layers, mood and contrasts.

In 10 days, you will take a route that connects everything: the grandeur of Istanbul with its mosques, palaces and atmosphere at the crossroads of Europe and Asia; fabulous Cappadocia with valleys, underground cities and sunrises with balloons; the tranquillity of the lake district and mountain roads; the fragrant lavender fields of Turkish Provence; and the final at the Aegean Sea with canyons and beaches where I just want to stop and breathe out.

However, there is no overload here. We don't run or close objects — the route has a rhythm: active days give way to easier ones; we have time for walks, photos, atmosphere and just live in the moment. This is a balance between nature, history and relaxation, without the extremes of endless travel or boring excursions.

This tour is for those who want not only to see Turkey, but to experience it in different ways: noisy and quiet, ancient and modern, wild and cozy.

Program

Day 1. Welcome to Turkey!

Arrival in Istanbul (new Ist airport), (check-in at the hotel no earlier than 14) after which - transfer and check-in at the hotel

Day 2. Getting to know Istanbul!

Two mosques

We will start the morning with a visit to the Suleymaniye Mosque, one of the most magnificent mosques in Turkey.
The tombs of Sultan Suleiman and his wife Hurrem Sultan (Roksolany) are also located here. After that, we move to the north of Istanbul to the magnificent Ottoman Baroque mosque, enjoy the views of the Bosphorus and cross a kilometer-long bridge to Asia.

Anatolia

On

the Asian side of Istanbul, or Anatolia/Anadolu as the Turks call it, we will visit an elegant palace on the Bosphorus, which is one of the most magnificent symbolic structures of the changing identity of the Ottoman Empire of the 19th century. The interior will amaze you with its scale to match the relics of the then Ottoman Empire. We'll have lunch and take some photos of the famous Maiden Tower from

afar.

The modern city center

We return to the European part, visit Taksim Square and walk from there along the famous Istiklal Street directly to the Galata Tower.

On the way along the street, we'll look into the Christian Church - a real piece of Italy in the center of Istanbul. From the tower we'll go down to the Galata Bridge, then it's time to return to the hotel.

Day 3. A day on the water

Egyptian Bazaar

In the morning, we'll visit the famous Egyptian Market

, the aromatic center of Istanbul.

It is not an easy task to resist the enchanting delicacies at the Spice Bazaar. You'll see colorful mosaic lights, sun-dried sausages, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants hanging from the ceilings and facades of stores and lined up with shops every step of the way up to the exit from the bazaar

. The

Princes' Islands

were once used to imprison the sons of Byzantine kings, but today they are known for their sandy beaches, old wooden structures and their clean air.

We'll start this journey with a boat trip across the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. The journey takes 1.5 hours towards the first island. After arriving at the largest island, we will go up to its very top by electric transport, and we will walk the last 1 km to the monastery and the observation deck. Upon returning to the marina, it's time for lunch at a restaurant with a large selection of seafood.

In the afternoon, we return to Istanbul, where you will have some free time for shopping or dining in the historic city center.

Day 4. Historic center

Historical center

We move to the most historic center - Hippodrome Square with its ancient artifacts. After that, we go to Topkapi Palace for more than 2 hours

.

The Topkapi Grand Palace has been one of the main residences of the Ottoman sultans for almost 400 years. The palace complex consists of four main courtyards and many smaller buildings. At its peak, the palace was home to 4,000 people and covered a large area with a long coastline. It housed mosques, a hospital, a bakery, and a mint. You will see all this from the inside, and as a bonus, you will get another great view of the Bosphorus

.

Two mosques

Now it's time to visit two of Istanbul's most famous mosques, located opposite each other: Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia (optional, as admission has become chargeable). Hagia Sophia is famous for its massive dome and is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture. It remained the largest cathedral in the world for almost a thousand years, until 1520. Both buildings will amaze you with their scale and give you some of the most unforgettable moments of

your stay in Istanbul.

In the evening we have some free time and we return to the hotel

Day 5. Getting to know Cappadocia

In the morning, we check out from the hotel in Istanbul, then an hour transfer, then an hour's flight, and upon arrival, an hour's transfer to the center of Cappadocia and check into a hotel.

Hiking

Today is about hiking. We will visit 3 of Cappadocia's most beautiful valleys

.

We'll make it to one of them before lunch (the walk takes 1 hour).

And in the afternoon, the main hiking route of the tour to the Cappadocia Valleys awaits us, surrounded by bizarre geological formations and the way of life of local residents. You'll also see stunning early Christian churches hidden in the valleys

.

In the evening, a picturesque sunset on the best observation deck in the Goreme area.

Day 6. The outskirts of Cappadocia

We will try to provide you with a balloon flight (paid option) on the very first morning in Cappadocia.

Underground City

We

check out of the hotel and ask ourselves: what are the underground cities of Cappadocia? These troglodyte cave cities date back to the Hittites and expanded over the centuries as various marauding armies crossed Central Anatolia in search of captives and looting.

There are about 100 underground cities in Cappadocia, and we will visit one of them.

The Valley and the Monastery

A walk to a picturesque valley awaits us, one of those over which balloons fly in the morning. It is very pleasant to walk along the valley among churches from 1000 years ago, surrounded by pristine nature. We have

lunch here

, in the same valley.

After lunch, we will visit an old Christian monastery.

On the way back to the hotel, we'll stop by a shop with all sorts of sweets and souvenirs.

Day 7. The peaks of Cappadocia

We check out of the hotel and start our last day in Cappadocia.

Today we have a rich program and all kinds of observation decks in Cappadocia (including the Valley of Love). It all looks like a sculpted zoo created by nature. Top-notch Instagram photos in each location are guaranteed to you!

Valleys of monks and imagination

The Valley of the Monks is home to some of the brightest fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, with double and even triple stone roofs. This style is unique even to Cappadocia, and these fairy chimneys are called mushroom-shaped chimneys. We will see even more bizarre figures in the Valley of Imagination on the

same day.

The Open-Air

Museum, once home to one of the largest communities in the region, is an amazing cave town dotted with dwellings, religious and secular spaces.

Here we will see a cave mosque with a minaret, old examples of Cappadocian architecture and religious frescoes.

Then it's lunch time.

Pottery Town

Our next stop is a pottery town, home to many family-run pottery workshops.

These famous potters make great souvenirs, and here you can buy everything from simple ashtrays and mugs to decorative plates and chess sets. We will visit one of the pottery shops and workshops, as well as the local ethnographic museum

located in an old Ottoman mansion.

Transfer to Konya We'll be free at

5:00pm, then 3-hour drive to Konya and check into

a hotel for 1 night
Day 8. Turkish Lakes Necklace

Greek town

Let's start our acquaintance with the lake district from a Greek town. The town was founded by the Greeks and still retains its original beauty and charm, surrounded

by quaint mountains.

Turkey's third largest lake

We continue our journey to the West and start our acquaintance with Turkey's lakes from a lake famous not only for its views of the mountains and the surface of the lake, but also for its ancient carved mosque.

Near the city, we'll also visit a Bronze Age Hittite sanctuary that has been standing on underground sources for 4,000 years.

After the observation decks with stunning views of the lake, we go up to the National Park Pass and descend from the slope to the other side of the mountains.

Turkey's fourth largest lake

Another lake on our way to the West. The lake has different colors at different times of the day; it is surrounded by apple and peach orchards and is known for its crystal clear waters.

We have lunch in a town by the lake, you should definitely try lake perch. We spend the

night

in Isparta province.
Day 9. Turkish Provence and cotton landscapes

Turkish Provence

Today, about 95% of all Turkish lavender grows in this area. Lavender coffee and tea, ice cream, cookies, honey, lokum, a variety of cosmetics: from lavender water and soap to various creams, household chemicals and, of course, lavender oil. It is a cosmetic, therapeutic, and culinary remedy. You can find all this in stores and on Turkish Maldives layouts. Then we drive to the shore of the lake known as the Turkish Maldives

. No comments are needed. See photos of this crater lake, whose bottom is lined with marble.

You will be able to have lunch at a self-service restaurant right on the beach before leaving for Pamukkale.

Pamukkale and Hierapolis

The

so-called snow-white cotton castle travertines appeared on the mountainside as a result of the deposition of calcium carbonate from carbon dioxide water. You can take mineral baths all year round. In 1988, Pamukkale and the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Pamukkale is famous not only for its mineral springs and snow-white travertines. The ancient city of Hierapolis (Hierapolis or Hierapolis of Phrygia) is located nearby. The ruins are scattered over

a vast area.

Guests can take a thermal bath at Cleopatra's springs at an additional cost. We will watch the sunset with a view of the travertines, and exit the complex through the remains of the walls of the ancient

city and its necropolis.

We will spend the night at a thermal hotel near Pamukkale.

Day 10. To the sea!

In the morning - 3.5-hour drive to the Aegean Sea

Giant Canyon Let's visit the canyon

, which is
300 m deep and 18 km long, is one of the deepest in the world.

It was formed by the abrasion of rocks by running water over thousands of years. You and I will walk as far as possible into the canyon at this time of

year.

Then an hour's drive and we'll swim in the wonderful Oludeniz (an hour from the airport), because the local beach is one of Turkey's top 3 beaches.

Transfer to the airport and flight back In the evening, you will be taken to Dalaman Airport, departing

around 22:00.

Those interested can continue their vacation at one of the resorts in Mugla province (Oludeniz, Fethiye)

- If the predicted wind speed is more than 10 m/s, balloon flights are canceled (this is only clear a day before the flight), so it's best to try to fly on the very first morning of your stay in Cappadocia

- We travel on foot in the valleys of Cappadocia, and cover long distances by minibus or car (of course, you are in passenger seats, you don't need to drive) - The program allows you to rearrange the order of attractions between days or within a day due to changes in their opening hours or weather conditions

- This is not a trekking tour, but tours have hiking routes in nature for 1-2.5 hours each. There are steep climbs of about 1 km. Please consider this if you have any contraindications

.

I'm going alone. Who am I going to spend the night with?

We live in a room for 2 people, sharing them by gender or inner sympathies.

You buy tickets yourself, but before that, we select the flight options that are convenient for you and send you purchase instructions. Sometimes we call each other and buy tickets together. In general, we do our best to make sure you don't have problems buying tickets.

I got to know Turkey from the other side: this country turns out to be beautiful, not just for a beach holiday. It was good that after the tour I had three days of hotel and beach vacation. I managed to get enough sleep and take a break from an active trip to Turkey. An interesting and active tour. It is full of different locations and movements. The organization by guide Maxim was excellent. I recommend it!!
A very busy tour, lots of interesting locations. Turkey has discovered its new beautiful places. Thanks to the organizers. Maxim has worked out an interesting route, cares about every tourist and solves all issues.
For those who like to swim and lie on the beach, the tour is not suitable; for lovers of sightseeing tourism, the tour will definitely stop by!
A wonderful, very intense and well-planned program! (it wasn't a waste to get up at six or four for that 😅)
It has everything from heights (balloons, balloons, an ancient temple on a rock) to the depths (cave cities, a river gorge, the fantastic Zindan Cave)! Add to that legendary sights like Pamukkale and Hierapolis, the romance of lavender fields and the azure sea for a dream trip! Thanks to Maxim and Regina for interesting stories, patience and tact!
A wonderful trip that brought only positive emotions! I am glad that I found such a cool trip among the many excursions. It's like being in a fairy tale. I saw extraordinary Cappadocia, Pamukkale, lakes and towns. I've been to Turkey many times, but now I've seen it mysterious and even more beautiful. There were nuances as with any trip, but our tour leaders Maxim and Regina always found solutions, were attentive and pleasant to talk to. It was comfortable to travel with them!
A very cool trip and a rich tour program. Turkey has opened from the other side. Early May is the perfect time for a tour. It wasn't hot and the weather was as comfortable as possible. Thanks to the organizers. The guys have worked out an interesting route, suitable for all ages)
For those who don't like to lie on the beach, but like to learn something new and interesting, the tour will definitely come by!
The trip was positive, but mostly due to the fact that I was lucky to have fellow travelers and we had fun together, took care of each other and didn't pay attention to the roughness

Everything related to logistics during the tour was done accurately and professionally
However, everything when it comes to service and maintenance is a serious area for development, but I'll only lower the score for this by one point
Next, I will discuss the pros and cons in more detail

+ Locations - nothing fancy, all the places were interesting and colorful. The result was very good photos
+ Accommodation - good hotels have been selected on a price/quality basis
+ Meals - at the end of the tour, the organizers asked about our condition and suggested time to stop for meals. However, for those tourists who are on PP, an important comment would be that the breaks at the beginning could be 5-7 hours, so bring your own snack
+ Guide - we had one guide in Cappadocia for two days, and his story was very interesting and rich
+ Souvenirs - we were brought to very good souvenir shops with a large assortment and a reasonable price. We were able to buy pottery, classic magnets, tea/coffee, and lokum

- The pace is very high, including at natural sites (valleys in Cappadocia, Hierapolis), when you have to run forward, look under your feet so as not to stumble, and even around, because the goal of the tour is educational, not sporty. Similarly, in Antalya, when we wanted to enjoy the city and walk along the streets, stopping and taking pictures, but in the end we almost ran to nowhere
- Hospitality - from the moment I booked the tour until the end of the first day, organizer Maxim told me directly how uncomfortable he felt that I had booked the tour. Mall, he had already drawn up the program taking into account a different number of people It was unpleasant for me to put it mildly and it's not entirely clear why tour sales weren't closed in this case. Towards the middle of the tour, I thought our escort Regina started noticing rudeness in the organizer's behavior and smoothing them out as much as possible. Thank her very much for that!
- Transfer - I warned in advance that I wanted to fly in the afternoon so that I could see Istanbul on the first day on my own. As a result, the organizer joined me with a group of other tourists whose flight was delayed, and I only found myself at the hotel around 7 pm, although I arrived at 3 o'clock Naturally, I only saw Istanbul at night Liked the comment “it's not for nothing that I tried to persuade you to go to the Urals” So what? Should my flight be delayed as well?
- Water - there will be no water in the car, be sure to buy at bus stops and better leave it in the car if you don't need it
- Suitcases - keep in mind that no one will help with the suitcases, it's completely your burden. We got into abnormal cold weather, so we had to take a lot of bulky warm clothes, so we climbed all the stairs steadfastly with an additional weight of 15 kg

Suggestions: include balloon watching in the tour Now this is an additional option that everyone has finally used

In general, if you only expect the tour to the locations listed in the program, everything went great. But if you take into account the cost and expect good customer service, you will be left with mixed opinions, just like me. I think that small groups accompanied only by Regina are much more lucky in this regard.
We visited Regina and Maxim on tour from April 14 to April 20. Not everyone was lucky with the weather, but what can you do, the main thing is that the balloon flights did take place)
The good thing about the tour is that it is essentially a constructor, and you can join it at any stage, be it Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya (we were on the Cappadocia+Antalya route). In advance, we were sent detailed information in the chat about what, how and where, about the currency, and the features you need to know before arriving.

Thanks to the guys for not overloading us with historical information, as is often the case, for example, on bus tours.
And if they said anything, it was interesting and humorous (here I would like to mention Engin, an excellent guide to Cappadocia).

The hotels on the way were good, I was especially pleased with the five-star hotel in Antalya with thermal pools, and the tour ended well. The restaurants and cafes for lunch were great, everything was delicious.

According to the guys, this was the first time they had such a big group, so there were some mistakes:

- There was not enough clarity in the time spent at locations (timing was not always clearly voiced);
- There was not always enough time to buy souvenirs, given that other tourists often visited the places and many just waited for the ticket office to be vacant;
- It was like we were in a hurry all the time, even if we had time to take a little walk.

Overall, we have a lot of work to do, but the tour itself is not bad and thanks to the guys anyway!
I enjoyed the tour and liked how everything was organized and performed. From the very beginning of the conversation, Watsapp sent all the necessary instructions to the day of booking, answered all questions in detail and helped you buy air tickets. During the tour itself, we were met at the airport, and then everything was strictly planned according to a pre-planned schedule. The Cappadocian underground city and the ancient Greek city of Sagalassos are especially memorable. After the tour, we stayed at the seaside, at the hotel that Maxim helped us choose.
Thank you very much, we recommend this tour to everyone!
Turkey is like traveling to a parallel universe! In Cappadocia, hot-air ballooning over fairy chimneys seems like a part of a dream. Pamukkale, with its snow-white terraces, looks like a giant caramel slide. The seashore is a beach where sunsets make you forget about time, but this is no longer part of the tour, I stayed at sea for a few days

Turkey is an endless hallucination where reality and fantasy intertwine, leaving you feeling like you've experienced something incredible and magical.
The tour was like diving into a fairy tale. The fabulous chimneys and the exciting hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia left me thrilled. The beauty of the lake district, with its clear lakes and mountain background, has become a refreshing vacation. Pamukkale's snow-white cotton castle and ancient ruins took me back in time. This tour perfectly combines nature, history and adventure, making every moment an unforgettable discovery. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the extraordinary!
