Program

Day 1. Welcome to Turkey!

This is the day of arrivals, without a program. There are no direct flights to Cappadocia, so you arrive in Istanbul with a direct flight for 1 night before your morning departure. This tour is usually only part of a larger 7-day tour, so you can choose the advanced format and fly to Istanbul 3 days early by joining it, here is a link to

the tour https://youtravel.me/tours/6535
Day 2. Getting to know Cappadocia

In the morning, we check out from the hotel in Istanbul, then an hour transfer, then an hour's flight, and upon arrival, an hour's transfer to the center of Cappadocia and check into a hotel.

Hiking

Today is dedicated to hiking. We will visit the 3 most beautiful valleys of Cappadocia

.

We'll make it to one of them before lunch (the walk takes 1 hour).

And in the afternoon, the main hiking route of the tour to the Cappadocia Valleys awaits us, surrounded by bizarre geological formations and the way of life of local residents. You'll also see stunning early Christian churches hidden in the valleys

.

In the evening, a picturesque sunset on the best observation deck in the Goreme area.

Day 3. The outskirts of Cappadocia

We will try to provide you with a balloon flight (paid option) on the very first morning in Cappadocia.

Underground city

We check out of the hotel and ask ourselves: what are the underground cities of Cappadocia? These troglodyte cave cities date back to the Hittites and expanded over the centuries as various marauding armies crossed Central Anatolia in search of captives and looting.

There are about 100 underground cities in Cappadocia, and we will visit one of them.

Canyon and monastery

We are waiting for a walk in a canyon formed by the river thousands of years ago. It is very pleasant to walk through the valley among vineyards, poplars and pistachio trees to the quiet sound of the rushing water, surrounded by rich wildlife

We'll have lunch right here in the canyon.

After lunch we will visit an old Christian monastery.

On the way back to the hotel, we'll stop by a shop with all sorts of sweets and souvenirs.

Day 4. The peaks of Cappadocia

We check out of the hotel and start our last day in Cappadocia.

Today we have a rich program and all kinds of observation decks in Cappadocia (including the Valley of Love). It all looks like a sculpted zoo created by nature. Top-notch Instagram photos in each location are guaranteed to you!

Valleys of monks and imagination

The Valley of the Monks is home to some of the brightest fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, with double and even triple stone roofs. This style is unique even to Cappadocia, and these fairy chimneys are called mushroom-shaped chimneys. We will see even more bizarre figures in the Valley of Imagination on the

same day.

Open-air museum

Once home to one of the largest communities in the region, the open-air museum is an amazing cave town dotted with dwellings, religious and secular spaces.

Here we will see a cave mosque with a minaret, old examples of Cappadocian architecture and religious frescoes.

Then it's lunch time.

Pottery town

Our next stop is a pottery town, home to many family-run pottery workshops. These famous potters make great souvenirs, and here you can buy everything from simple ashtrays and mugs to decorative plates and chess sets. We will visit one of the pottery shops and workshops, as well as the local ethnographic museum

located in an old Ottoman mansion.

Transfer to the airport

In the evening, transfer to Kayseri Airport and fly home, see flights around 20:00

But if you wish, you can continue the tour and finish at sea in 3 days:

Thanks to Maxim for the tour of Istanbul and Cappadocia! I had a great experience and everything was very comfortable! An interesting, busy route, comfortable accommodation, dining in restaurants with amazing views. A clear organization and a friendly atmosphere. My tour was part of a big tour of Turkey's most interesting locations. It was possible to join the tour at any stage, which is also very convenient. I highly recommend it!
Thank you very much Maxim for caring and organizing the tour!

The perfect program to explore the sights of Cappadocia without getting tired of them

Special thanks for the free water in the minibus, we drank several bottles every day)
Great tour! An unforgettable experience! Thanks to the organizers, everything was great. An interesting route, good accommodation, convenient transportation, an excellent local guide Engin with a good command of the Russian language, extensive information not only of a historical nature, but also about modern life in Turkey. Special thanks to Maxim, the guide and organizer.
Thanks a lot to Maxim and Regina for this unforgettable trip! Everything was organized: the hotels were decent, the cars were comfortable, the guides were competent, the drivers were polite, and the company was friendly. There were situations in which it was necessary to make a quick decision and Maxim decided everything and reorganized everything! This is an important criterion for an organizer to make a quick decision when needed. Halfway through the tour, I fell ill, and the guys also met halfway and arranged a transfer ahead of schedule. Thanks to them!

It's all great! I highly recommend it! Good luck to you guys!
Thank you very much to Maxim and Regina for a busy trip to Cappadocia. If you are thinking of going by yourself, it's better to go with a guide: no guide will contain all the subtleties and unusual trails. Maxim and Regina are always in touch. Special thanks for a very cozy hotel in Cappadocia - it's super! For everyone who is thinking about flying in a balloon or not: take the most out of the trip once you've arrived:)
The tour generally met expectations, everything was organized perfectly, thanks to Regina for her sensitive support throughout the tour. The valleys of Cappadocia are interesting to visit from the inside, but the most memorable experience is certainly the sight of hundreds of balloons rising simultaneously at sunrise. That's the only reason why it's worth going to Cappadocia. We watched from several venues and this was enough to get unforgettable emotions. I never regretted not taking a balloon ride for 280 euros for a seat in a basket with 28 people, where possible, and there would not be the whole picture that could be seen from the ground.
An amazing adventure! I liked everything very much!

Great, kind, cheerful and helpful organizers. They will find an approach even to a fierce introvert)))

A well-designed tour, lots of beautiful places and interesting information. Even hotel rooms and restaurants have been given a lot of attention, each place is unique and leaves a unique impression.

After such a vacation, I want one more to “digest” all the experiences I've experienced. There are so many of them and so “wow” that you don't want to return to normal life at all.
Many thanks to Maxim and Regina for a wonderful tour. Everything is well planned and organized. The guides are always in touch, ready to help with any issue, take into account the wishes of the participants, for example, they have provided us with food outlets with a vegan menu. We visited many amazing places in Cappadocia, including well-known locations such as the Valley of Love, the Valley of the Pigeons, the Fairy Valley, etc., as well as rarely visited places, such as temples of ancient Christians with well-preserved paintings. I can't believe that this painting is more than 10 centuries old! There are hikes on the tour - not too tiring and picturesque. At the end of the longest of them, a fabulous sunset awaited us! Overall, the tour is professionally organized and I definitely recommend it. And yes, it is highly desirable to wear sneakers when hiking to get the most out of it.
I would like to thank Maxim and Regina for an excellent tour. On the first day, we had a balloon ride, and in the evening we had a group hike. The rest of the days were also busy. The organizers did not refuse to help, they were always in touch
Even before the trip, Maxim and Regina were very helpful in organizing the trip. Since we created an individual itinerary, we needed bus tickets and guides helped us book tickets in advance. Before the trip, the guides were also in touch and answered questions about the tour. The three days in Cappadocia were very busy. I managed to fly in a balloon early in the morning on the first day and go hiking for 2 hours in the evening. The rest of the days were also filled with interesting places and experiences. Get ready to walk a lot, and if the guide warns you that you need special shoes, it's better to wear sneakers. Many locations had steep climbs and I never regretted wearing hiking shoes. It was nice that the guides made sure to bring water bottles to everyone. I would also like to note that the team has very professional Turkish guides. Engin is very accessible and humorously talks about the region in good Russian.
We lived in a cave hotel and it was a pleasant surprise and a full immersion in the culture of Cappadocia, where caves are still owned. The location is beautiful and convenient. Early in the morning on the third day, we even woke up to the sound of the burner and could see balloons flying right above our hotel. It was unexpected and impressive.
