About the tour: Thanks to the organizers, everything was done correctly and well. The driver boys (Magamed, Mamala, Shamsutdin) didn't just drive us and lived with us these days. About the tour: Dagestan is beautiful, I will definitely go again, but I can't recommend these with other organizers, I'll write below why

To begin with, my goal is not to insult anyone. I would rather warn the people who are currently choosing guides with whom to travel to this beautiful country. There were advantages to our train, and I will also write about them. But for me and our group members, the disadvantages outweighed

I'll write about everything one by one Sorry, there will be a lot of words so that my review does not seem biased

Our group consisted of 8 people (most of them strangers, but we became very friends during the trip) and two guides in two cars: the elder Shamil and the younger Shamil The first day I was in the older car - a bright Lexus Everything was fine. We visited Derbent, there was a good guide there, we stopped by Moon and a couple more places along the way

On the second day, one of the guides's girlfriend joined our group and asked me to get into the second car - the Hyunday minibus. This car was much worse. Firstly, it was rocky. I coped with it with the drama and gave it to the child who was driving behind and vomited (the baby is not mine, if anything, I went alone, but, as I said, we all became very friends with the guys during the trip)

The second drawback: Tinted windows are very difficult to see. Since you spend most of your time on the road, this is important. Since I have already had experience from another car and there, while you are driving, you can see beautiful views of Dagestan
When we were at the locations, if there was no local guide (I've counted three of the many places), we were simply sent to walk with little or no information People who were traveling with elder Shamil heard at least something from him on the road while driving. Younger Shamil not only didn't say anything at all, he just dropped people off, but all days, starting from the second, he just walked nearby and sorted things out with his girlfriend. We and the people who saw this were shocked by this Especially against the background of other guides and groups we met Other guides accompanied their tourists and told them the history of places and interesting facts We had to search for information on the Internet like Sai orphans or listen to other people's guides We were not told what time to return, where to go later If they asked, they often told us an indefinite time, and then the drivers scolded us that we had to walk for a long time and had to go faster. Example - at one location, younger Shamil said that we could walk as long as we wanted, at least 2 hours, but it turned out that we had to leave in 40 minutes Or another example, Goor didn't say that the Troll Language was there and we should go there later. there are guys upstairs for a long time until strangers told me that there is also Troll Language. Moreover, younger Shamil was walking next to his girlfriend, but apparently it was more important than giving information

The elder Shamil (I was driving with him for the first and fifth days) was generally a nice person; he told some facts to tourists on the way in the car. He stayed at the car and didn't go anywhere with us either

Therefore, if you still decide to go on this tour, I recommend that you prepare and search for information yourself, as the driver won't really tell you anything (and Shamil Jr. acted as just a driver, in fact, not a guide) At first I thought that maybe our tour was so cheap and that's why it was, but then I started asking other groups - they cost the same plus minus a couple thousand. And our guide only acted as a driver and a paddock a car driver to get to another place faster

The next very important point! Don't think this tour is all inclusive and you won't have to pay for anything else
It was necessary to pay extra at the locations - 200 rubles were mandatory for transportation to Stary Goor. In two locations, 100 rubles for boots And they persistently tried to persuade them to pay extra - 500 rubles for replacing dinner with barbecue, 1000 rubles for a boat, 1000 rubles for a trip to Gamsutl, 500 rubles for a change of location Then my two friends and I refused and got a lot of pressure in these moments of “why should you go there”, “because of you, the whole car will go to the dune, not to the caves” (the dunes were on tour and we wanted to go there, but the guides offered another place for an extra charge instead of a dungeon), “if everyone ordered a barbecue, we would all have a rest and eat barbecue”, “why don't you want to”, “you understand how beautiful it will be there” It's very unpleasant when you come with a good one in the mood to see beautiful places, but you have to defend your desire to go to the place that is on the tour program, and not to the place where they offer to go for an extra charge And listen to what there is nothing to see on the way Or not take a barbecue for an extra charge instead of a regular dinner Or the desire to walk to the designated place, not for an additional 1000 rubles
As a result, Barkhan turned out to be very cool and we were very happy that we almost fought this location instead of a paid replacement (we had been under pressure two days earlier to change our mind)

By the way, dinner instead of barbecue was great, like all the food on this trip. The guys who paid extra for the barbecue only got it, and we, those who didn't pay extra, got a full dinner with the same lamb

Now about the pros

We were accommodated in three separate nice spacious houses with all amenities

There were several beautiful places in addition to those on the list. However, the declared Gunib Fortress was not visited; it was replaced by a museum

In the early days, younger Shamil got along well with the child, who was riding in the back seats with his family; he took him in his arms during the trip so that he wouldn't get seasick

You get coffee once in a Turku in a beautiful place It was great But only once The rest of the time you buy your own coffee at gas stations or places where you stay

And finally, Dagestan is really a beautiful and very beautiful republic. You should definitely visit, but choose guides carefully and not rely on beautiful reviews (the accuracy of which I'm not sure about anymore)

About the tour: The four of us (4 girls) went on tour from April 15 to April 19 🏞️

Firstly, the weather on these dates was beautiful, sunny, ranging from 18-24 degrees. Put on t-shirts/long sleeves and it was super comfortable, they put jackets in the car just in case. This is one of the advantages of having a car assigned to you from the beginning to the end of the tour. We even brought extra outfits into the car to change clothes in the middle of the day and look different in the photos 🤪

Secondly, the tour is a teleportation to your childhood, where you are taken somewhere, constantly fed and cared for, you meet complete strangers who have come from different parts of Russia, you manage to become friends in 5 days as if you have known each other for a thousand years, you sing songs and constantly sweep away Childhood!

As I wrote above, from the very beginning of the tour, we were assigned a car - a pretty Mercedes minivan - for all 5 days We had 5 people in the car, everyone had enough space for a comfortable stay Like I'm talking about a car, because the time spent in it is the most fun and memorable thing to drive between locations along steep serpentines (it's safe), constantly look out the window and contemplate incredibly beautiful views, make short stops at a photo shoot and sing your favorite songs with the whole car at the top of your voice 🔥

Anyway, a car becomes your home away from the hotel for five days. That's how we saw it, so we took snacks and extra clothes there just in case, and the driver-guide became our best friend (Hi Shamsik!) ❤️

The tour organizers were the sweetest, kindest people who spent almost 24 hours with us: driving us from point to point, simultaneously telling interesting facts about the locations, accompanying us to the locations themselves, if they were caves, then climbing them with us, giving a hand. In general, they created constant comfort and safety

Tour program - we visited all the main sights of northern Dagestan, saw Derbent, rode horses, boated, ate kebabs, climbed caves, saw the steepest cliffs and cliffs In general, everything described in the program was seen, photographed, completed and conquered 😅

The food on the tour is varied, in cute local canteens (one basic course in the village of Gunib - it always has breakfast and dinner, lunches come elsewhere) Usually the format of the meal: main course, second course and all sorts of common snacks on the table, drink The daily diet always contains at least one national dish - Miracle/Kurse/Khinkal Important: if you have allergies or serious eating habits, be sure to write about this to the coordinator before the tour starts
