I learned about tourism as a sport in the far and beautiful year of 1996. I was in the 5th grade, when I was in the sports tourism team of the children's and youth school "Victoria". And this hobby stayed with me for many years.
In 2001, I already had the first sports category in multisport and 2 sports walking tourism. As well as the experience of participation and judging in orienteering competitions.
I even took 4th place in the All-Russian orienteering competition "Altros".
I did not want to go into orienteering.
By this time I went to university and went to Sochi, with the idea of doing handicap on the handicap in the tourist all-around.
But when I joined a local tourist club I was disappointed - there was no strong sports team in Sochi with which it would be possible to take part in competitions of the required level. My expectations were not met.
In 2005 I took part in a hike of the 4th category (out of 6). We passed 220 kilometers of the western Caucasus in 21 days. On the route it was very hard physically, but the beauty of the mountains made up for all the hardships. I will remember the trip for a long time.
After passing the courses for instructors in "children's and youth tourism" I went to the mountains with my own company.
But I never made it to the sports competitions.
In 2014, we set up our own hiking club.
