Travel Expert has no scheduled tours, but here are the trips recommended for you:
Rating 4.80 (20 reviews)
About the tour: The trip took place from August 5 to 13. I was lucky with the weather (it was 2 days without rain). As old-timers said, it rains all 9 days. Well: this is Shumak, this is the Eastern Sayan.
I'll say it again for those who think this is a simple walk under a backpack. Although the route is category 1A, this is a big mistake. Because there are places to work out along the entire length of the route. Be very careful when choosing shoes. People who wore EVA boots were left with dry feet. Depending on the rains, the level of fords is unpredictable. A lot of kurumnik, pay attention to the thickness of the sole.
Another point concerns the weight of the backpack. Equip yourself with household scales (steelyard or counter) and check every item carefully. The recommended backpack weight is 10% of your body weight. But this is 6-7 kilograms, but don't forget that you will also be given group-wide equipment. This is usually food. So the weight of a backpack of 12-14 kg will be quite comfortable. One guide said about gender differences that men should bear the main burden. It was very unpleasant to watch a picture when some women simply threw their weight off to a bald man. According to him, this does not bother him. My personal opinion is why would a person carry someone's personal items when he's also on vacation. And the last thing he'll remember from the hike is how his back was destroyed by a heavy backpack.
Meals are another point that I would like to draw your attention to. Because the trip is exhausting, that is, you always want to. Be sure to bring snacks (nuts, bars, bread). Believe me, EVERYTHING will come at the first stop. During lunch and dinner, you always want a supplement. It is very important when there is only one person at the giveaway, and not anarchy, that is, he came up and put on as much as he wanted.

About the tour: My personal opinion about the route, organization, suggestions, notes.

1) It is better not to take children under 16;
2) You must have decent physical training, at least constantly exercise: running, crossfit, active dancing. Have strong ligaments, knees, joints. Be able to move with a heavy weight for 8-12 hours. This is not a joke;
3) you want to specifically strain yourself and test yourself (if you have not been mountaineering before) - go ahead))

Route:
It is difficult and long to walk, every day for 8-11 hours with a heavy backpack (for me personally). In my opinion, it is necessary to have mountain boots, because you will have to walk a lot on rough sharp stones, on water, mud and cross rivers, and you can get into the rain within 3-4 days. I have ASOLO bots and they did a perfect job.
The total length of the route is 90 km! Keep this in mind! The weather half of the route is likely to be wet, cold, and bad.

REMEMBER:
1) Before going on the route, you will be repacked at the Sukhoi Ruchey site. Leave excess items in pay boxes there, do not leave things on the bus or at the organizers' warehouse.
2) Take a paid stop to GAZ-66 so as not to walk an extra 7-10 km.
3) Go out early in the morning, don't spend hours eating lunch, then you have a better chance to walk part of the way in the sun, because after 14 it starts to rain.
4) take 5-6 thousand in cash just in case.

I liked it:
-cross the pass
- ascent to 3 captains
- spending the night on the lakes,
- fields and meadows in the gorges for 2 days of the route.

In general, the whole region, Irkutsk and Buryatia are of incredible beauty! We will definitely come back)) we'll take a walk.
Thanks to the guides and organizers for their patience and kindness!
