I live in the Caucasus, since 2012 I have been guiding tours to my favorite areas - Bezenghi, Upper Balkaria, Ullu-Tau, Elbrus (South and North), North Ossetia. About the tour: Briefly: The tour is quite good in content, but the cost is twice as high. The organizer is a frankly bad guide.

Details. This tour is overpriced because we were able to compare the prices of tours included in it with the available counterparts. When you consider that the tour does not include a visit to any of the activities, it is in fact reduced to transportation between different locations. So if you are interested in the set of activities from the description - you can safely go without a tour, on the spot everything is organized without any problems, there are plenty of points of sale of excursions on the main streets of all cities KavMinVoda, and will be half the price.

Our organizer tried to give us a tour around the center of Pyatigorsk and the necropolis of Pyatigorsk, but unfortunately Igor knows little about the history of Pyatigorsk and does not understand the architecture, so that he confused the dates and names, about the most famous buildings could say two or three words. But he "compensated" for it with stories about drinking alcohol.

In Pyatigorsk the organizer knows the places where it is possible to buy something or to eat. But outside of Pyatigorsk, unfortunately, his knowledge ends. Judging by his stories, he knows the surrounding natural beauty well, but we have not had a chance to check this.

In summary, a visit to the Caucasian mineral waters I am ready to recommend, there are many historical places, you can get acquainted with the customs of the mountain peoples, to admire the surrounding nature, in Pyatigorsk to visit quite interesting institutions, go to a concert (we managed to visit a symphony concert in Kislovodsk). But this tour for all this is not necessary and rather harmful, given its cost (we gave 58 thousand). Do not compare to tours where the bus rides for 40 people, it is a different format! In addition, your tour was on the May holidays, you booked it a short time before the holidays. At a minimum, during this period, high prices for accommodation. As for the excursions, please note that you have chosen an active tour, not an excursion. The job of the guide is to guide you through the itinerary. If you are interested in the facts as well as the myths and legends of certain attractions, it is worth choosing a purely sightseeing tours. They are less active, but more informative. About the tour: Very interesting and rich program. Convenient that they meet me at the airport of Minvody. The route is well-thought out, interesting.
