I am a guide, a local historian and a social activist. Tourism is my life. I have visited a huge number of countries and cities of Russia, but most of all I love my hometown of Pskov. For many years I have been running a tour operator company which organizes tours and excursions across the Pskov region and to the neighboring countries of the Baltics. We have a large team of managers, guides, transport and we can guarantee guests high quality service. More

About the tour: Quite an unusual tour. Minimum mandatory facilities for the Pskov region. Of course, it is difficult to compare Mikhailovskoye and a private paper factory in terms of cultural significance. But on the other hand, here are our real contemporaries, lively and friendly people, and not Alexander Sergeyevich, who has been bronzed. So, Continent did a great job of coming up with such a tour as “Rattling Through Farms”. Read more
About the tour: The idea of the tour is not bad Pskov, as always, is good!!! Izborsk and Pechora are similar!!! Great places, historical monuments in good condition, beautiful roads! There are a lot of delights about this land. Everyone knows that! And now about the shortcomings 1 Sightseeing tour of Pskov Three hours on foot in the heat, standing still for 30-40 minutes, is hard!!! With an audio guide, you could safely move around the city And the guide would be more comfortable with 2 Apple orchards Yes, it's interesting for those who do not have a summer house Very nice hostess, a lot of work has been put in!!! We certainly appreciated this! The most interesting thing is the cheese factory! Cheese fanatic Ignatius!!! It can be endless to talk about cheese! This is very interesting! But 1.5-2 hours standing in an 18-meter room is too much! Nobody actually shows the cheese-making process Yes, cheese is beautiful! The tasting went off with a bang! But seat people and at least show me on the screen how cheese is made Especially since this whole tour is interesting for children 3 Izborsk Hotel Complex When checking in, you must take into account the age of tourists Warn in advance that there is no elevator, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, etc. Upon arrival, four of us were accommodated in the attic floor Four are three pensioners and a 7-year-old child The heat and stuffiness in the rooms are scary nice, it heats up from the roof!!! The rooms are tiny There is no light from the attic window To ventilate the room, I had to open the doors of the rooms and the fire escape. It's also good that our two rooms were in front of each other At night, a thunderstorm began and water flowed through the window right onto the bed!!! It was impossible to sleep! They asked for other rooms, we were refused due to the hotel's full occupancy. However, in the morning we shared our impressions with Svetlana and she resolved the issue, we were moved to the second floor. The conditions are excellent, it's not hot, the room size is twice as large And this is also Standard! 4 Hotel restaurant The food is fine, the prices are normal, but the waitresses are!!! They hate all visitors with mortal hatred! Very rude and unkind! We ate dinner there for two days, so we saw two shifts of waitresses, I can tell you 5 It's actually interesting at the Seto Farm. But why feed them pies 15 minutes before lunch?
Full enthusiasm for the Paper Mill An extremely pleasant, charming family, a story about paper is very well thought out and executed - slides, puzzle games, and a demonstration of various paper samples. And the master class itself is simply beautiful! It's impossible to put it down! Yuri's wonderful poems!!! This is where I definitely want to go back!
Bread farm Well, not so good If we were given the opportunity to make gingerbread dough ourselves, it would be much more interesting
An ostrich farm is interesting for both adults and children Where else can you feed ostriches? A very tasty lunch
Active Village Organic Center Honestly, we did not understand what it was created for if it does not process vegetables and fruits in industrial volumes. How do they exist? Do they live only on small private orders? The sun-dried fruits that their colleagues produce and you can buy them here are very tasty - lingonberries, gooseberries, rhubarb You have never seen or tasted anything like this
I would like to fill the program with something else so as not to return to the hotel at 4 pm and not think about what to do?
Taking into account the fact that these are only the first trips to this tour, let's hope that it will develop and transform like a living organism and will eventually reach the ideal!!!

Travel expert's answer: Dear Valeria! Thank you so much for such a thorough review. Your opinion is extremely important to us. Indeed, the tour is gaining experience and its target audience. We would like our guests to “taste” the forgotten rural way of life and enjoy the silence and eco-products. The opinions of the participants are important to us. Your view of the unique orchards with 30,000 apple trees and the Snegiri eco-village, where everyone is really passionate about what they do, as you rightly noticed from the cheesemaker Ignat. We will definitely suggest considering installing seats, although SanPins... Thank you for appreciating the “sincere company” and the content of the workshop at the Paper Mill. We really wanted you to eat the Seto pie... yes, it's not entirely wise, the distance between the Seto Manor and the Izborsky ostrich, where you ate lunch, really does not allow you to feel hungry again. We will consider offering packaging for the cake to go home with our guests. We put the Organic Center in the final precisely so that guests could purchase all ecological products produced by farmers in our region in one place. Thank you for appreciating this. The issue of the profitability of production itself lies in the skillful use of grant funds. This is a social enterprise that pays only for resources, and there is no question of profit. It was important for us to show the guests the technology of environmentally friendly processing of agricultural products. We will definitely share your complaints with the restaurant; indeed, it is unacceptable to show “fatigue” from customers. And we'll talk to the hotel about allocating a separate category for attic rooms. We will definitely consider recording an audio tour of the city and invite fans to independently determine the pace of exploring the city. Have a nice new trip. Thank you again for your assessment, and we will try to fill our difficult rural route with meaning and positive emotions. Read more
About the tour: I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Everything is perfectly organised. The facilities are at a high level. Friendliness throughout. The guides are wonderful. They are in love with their city, their profession. You can feel it in their every word. I recommend everyone. and very lucky with the weather.
I did not want to go to my hotel room.
Thank you very much for the joy for my soul.

About the tour: Thank you for organizing this beautiful tour. All the guides were good. Would especially like to thank guide Natalia for Push Mountains . She is super. From recommendations: we did not have enough time to Mikhailovskoye. We should have had at least 15-20 min. And we would have been a little happier. And, of course, we'd like to add visiting of the distant caves in Pechory. Read more
