About the tour: Visiting the Man-Pupu-Nör Plateau has been my old dream
I considered many options: a two-week summer walking program (reasonably realizing that I would die along the way)), and a helicopter tour (but this is not sporty))), and cross-country skiing (but they don't want to go straight on my skis)))) The goal was, there were no reasonable ways to achieve it! When I came across Pavel's group, I realized that it was fate!!! (at the same time, my poor husband also got unplanned adventures)
I want to disappoint those who think that snowmobiling is easy and pleasant (and I was also in your ranks), it's not like that. The crew consists of 3 people: a snowmobile driver (usually an experienced instructor with the right to drive the appropriate equipment) and 2 people (tourists) in a sleigh, alternately sitting (one seat in the sleigh) and standing in the back (like on finks) People, who is standing, is not dumb, but “steers” his sleigh at turns, descents and ascents, otherwise there is an option to fall into the snow and wait on the ski track for the snowmobile to follow, looking indignantly like yours goes to the taiga with an empty sleigh Personally, I tumbled the sleigh twice)))
Daily mileage: 90 (8-9 hours), 50 (4-5 hours), 50 (4-5 hours), 90 (8-9 hours) By the end of the first day, your legs fall off! And arms And neck And everything else too))) And then nothing, you get involved and even have fun
Another caveat that I didn't think about: a snowmobile has a gasoline internal combustion engine, after riding, be prepared for the airport to shy away from you like plague people, because the indescribable smell of exhaust gases that envelops you in a thick cloud does not completely disappear even after washing))
Amenities: on days 1 and 5 - a wooden house, rooms for 3 people (there are 2 with more capacity), a toilet in the house (though washed off with a ladle or bucket), no shower for 2 and 4 days - a two-story wooden house, an outdoor toilet next door 3 days - a mountain module (a trailer for 2 reserved seats with a stove), an outdoor toilet at 20 meters In the evening, 4 days, sauna It is possible to order a sauna for 5 days (me didn't go, but those of us who went were very happy)
Organization: Pasha did a great job! Both the route, the food, all sorts of little things and spare parts in case of unforeseen situations have been thought out (and they happen, like on any trip) The main rule of this trip is: listen to Pasha, he won't recommend anything bad!)))
Equipment: I highly recommend renting everything that the organizer offers The boots are really very warm. All the time, my feet only froze once: when I had already rented my boots to Pasha and wore my WINTER boots for half an hour!!! HIKING!!! boots There is no point in carrying voluminous foam and a sleeping bag with you either, Pasha's price tag is very reasonable, the equipment is good
And the plateau itself: mountains, sky, sun, space and wind (with a very fresh wind of up to 40 m/s) We were lucky with the weather (though we weren't very lucky at first))), but the result was great) It was a DELIGHT!!! Words can't put it into words, you need to see it!)))
If you think, “To go or not to go?” Definitely go

Travel expert's answer: Margarita, thank you very much for the complete and honest discussion. Hi Denis. Come and wait.
About the tour: I was lucky enough to visit the Manpupunör Plateau in winter 😍 and I'm very happy that this trip was with Pavel. Very good organization despite the weather conditions. , from the severe frost at the beginning of the route and the strongest blizzard on the way. I liked that Pasha remained reasonable and calm in a difficult situation))))) although I was already panicking 😂😂😂 This is one of the most exciting trips of my life)) everything was great in terms of nutrition, regular camping food, macaroons, stew, and, of course, lard and garlic) they ate both cheeks 😂 5 days passed just by unnoticed, left crying 🥺 if you had the question will arise whether to go or not, do not hesitate. Agree right away) you will have a unique opportunity to see one of the 7 wonders of Russia ❤️ We rode in a sleigh, two by two. We spent the night in very warm places, even with a bathhouse) of course, you need to prepare your equipment well, then neither snow nor frost are scary) Read more
Travel expert's answer: Olya, thanks. Come and visit us.
About the tour: Great guide and great hike! From the very beginning, Pavel explained all the subtleties and nuances of the hike (what things and food to take, how to physically prepare for a hike, etc.). Pavel led the group confidently while listening to the wishes of the band members. During large crossings, there was support, the group was one body (which is not something you will find with every guide). I would like to draw your attention to the fact that despite some difficulties (and how else in the mountains?) all issues were resolved in a calm manner. I am waiting for the poster of Paul's upcoming trips to repeat the ascents. My recommendation! PS When I got home, I was waiting for a selection of amazing photos from the mountains taken with a professional camera (yes, Pavel carried his camera with him to please the group when he arrived). +500 to motivation Read more
Travel expert's answer: Ilya, thank you. I was also lucky to have the team. It wasn't easy, but everyone did it.
About the tour: The equipment is not prepared and broke down, the equipment is very weak and the instructions are not suitable for such harsh conditions. Food is scarce. I did not count on extravagances, but believe me, there is something to compare it with. The program included 2 nights in a tent with a stove. In the end it was a tent, which Paul himself had not seen in the eyes and had no idea what the conditions are there. I would not give my worst estimation only because the company included people who were able to solve all problems and make my vacation as pleasant as possible. Thanks a lot to my traveling companions. Paul as a person is wonderful, but I do not recommend going with him on trips with difficult conditions. Read more
Travel expert's answer: Svetlana, if you have such a character, your right. Believe me it was not yet harsh conditions and do not judge people you do not know at all. Thank you.
