A social psychologist in my first profession, I found my calling in traveling. Most of all in traveling I appreciate authenticity and depth of impressions, thought-out organization, style, quality of rest, interesting meetings, aestheticism of nature and meeting the new and unknown.
Once upon a time, at the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire in Mali, my friends and I saw posters depicting villages in that country, shamans, locals. Despite the fact that I saw this reality with my own eyes, I was excited at the thought that this kind of tourism can be promoted, that it can be interesting not only for me and a narrow circle of like-minded people, but also for many people, including my compatriots. Each poster was signed - "Le Tourism Vrai" - which means "Genuine tourism".
It was "true tourism" that I chose as the main activity of my project. I think Genuine Tourism is the tourism of the future, it is what changes our lives for the better, bringing back the core values and the awareness of its high meaning.
