About the tour: The trip to Lake Guarap in Abkhazia was one of the brightest and most memorable summer events. With friends, we went on an exciting journey to enjoy the beauty of Abkhazian nature and test ourselves in the wild.
The trip turned out to be a real adventure — we had to overcome mountain passes, fords and even narrow paths through the cliffs. But all these difficulties were worth seeing the beauty that was opening up before us. We met wild animals like chamois, wild boars and even bears, which added spice to our experience.
On the lake itself, another thrill awaited us — the opportunity to fish for trout. Each of us was able to feel like a real earner.
Another highlight of the hike was the setting up of tents on the ridge, which offered stunning views of the Main Caucasus Mountain Range. At sunset, the mountains seemed even more majestic and more beautiful, and the sky shone with all shades of pink and orange.
This trip left an indelible impression and a lot of positive emotions. Thanks to the guides for their timely help and stories about the area along the way. Read more
