About the tour: Back from the woods! A real, Tver forest!!! The "Pure forest" biostation is another planet.
When I was going on this little trip, I was gnawing at doubts... But meeting at the station of Staraya Toropa somehow immediately removed tension. For a long time we drove in darkness. And when it got light, I saw and felt the air behind the car window!!! The sky was completely different! The birds and small animals were popping out from under the wheels of the car. The road is absolutely romantic! Its main attraction - no asphalt! We arrived in the forest! A high tower, the lake, the silence presses on the ears! A complete delight! After breakfast we started the program. Orienteering was terribly cheerful event! To the winner, an advanced route! I LOVED it! It is so nice and quiet in the forest! After lunch, there was an eco trail. I've never seen a swamp so close! Unusual landscape! Our wonderful guide Elia knows everything about her forest!
After the walk in the forest- a lecture about bears. Vasily is a bear professor, an expert on bears in the third generation. The story and the demonstration were very fascinating! I knew almost nothing about bears. Vassya opened my eyes!
In the evening the fireplace, the open fire is calming, brings me closer!
The second day passed in the same way very full. And we got to know each other very well. We made a fire for the first time in my life, made a filtration of water, spruce tea from the mug of peace - all this is so cool, incendiary, I would say! Our instructor Max - a great guy and expert in all the tricks of survival in the wilderness! He paid attention to each of us for the best possible outcome. At the end of the training there was a simple question - where should we go if we wanted to get back to the house? He caught us by surprise! There were several versions. And the road turned out to be just three steps away! With jokes and pranks we went back to dinner. And then there was Dasha. She took us to the kingdom of beavers. We learned so many interesting and unknown things from her! Water under your feet, water from the sky! But it didn't prevent us from having fun walking and enjoying the lecture. Dasha is a real expert of the forest and its inhabitants, as well as the starry sky and all the twists and turns of Greek mythology! There were two dogs of amazing whiteness and beauty with her! Alexey knows everything about wolves! Remarkable film and the story left indelible impression!
In this wonderful place in the heart of Tver forests terrific REAL people live and work! One would like to come back to this island where there is difficult but wonderful life and work, where people, like their wolves, bears and beavers, live without false signs and masks and are busy with the real business!
