About the tour: August 07, 2025 — August 13, 2025. You know, there are guides who, after five minutes of acquaintance, feel like you've been traveling together for half your life. This is a rare experience and we were lucky to have Ekaterina G. She has surrounded us with attention and care. With such a guide, all difficulties are already perceived as a team challenge, which must be overcome with a smile and a good mood. I would like to add about Ekaterina's endless energy and her desire to give tourists several options for activities in all weather and physical conditions.
Now about the tour itself. The programme is balanced and, where necessary, flexible. Those who have little activity have days when they can put it on; those who find it difficult, due to their physical characteristics, can wait out the most difficult areas without falling out of the general program for half a day or a whole day. Accommodation and food fully comply with the conditions under which the tour is being promoted.

About the tour: The organization of interaction between the organizer and the uTravel website is zero. I bought a tour, paid for it, requested passport details - sent it. As a result, sorry, the overlay came out, we are canceling your tour. I turned to another organizer - the same thing. Until I started dealing with people, the problem was not solved. Then they allegedly found one place.

Conclusion: booking Altai Silk Road tours to Uttravel is risky, at least for your nerves. And if the air ticket is also non-refundable, material risks arise.

On the tour itself:
The journey by minibus is about 70% of the time.

The driver and guide are constantly in a hurry and do not let you enjoy nature, which is very uncomfortable. Once we were in a hurry, as a result, we arrived at the base and waited 1.5 hours for dinner and did nothing... Instead, we could enjoy Lake Kedelu...

-A small bus, small windows and a small view on the way, uncomfortable.
- The toilet at the base in the room is comfortable (it's pointless to take it, take the cheapest one) the door does not close.
- The driver who drove on excursions is always dissatisfied, behaves disgusting, as if everyone owes him and he is supposedly in charge here, this is the opinion of several tourists. Also, an unsafe driving style often flew to the oncoming traffic.
- You can't hear the guide's story in the car at all, you need a normal organization of the tour: a microphone and speakers, at least.
- According to the standard terms, I paid more for 2 people to sleep, and 3 people sleep in a room on one of the nights.
- On the second floor, the toilet stinks unbearably.
- The guide said almost nothing, he just went with us for the company and hurried us, which only annoyed us.

The organization of the tour is extremely low.

On the last day, part of the tour was led by a retired female teacher. Here she was fire - charismatic, interesting to talk, answer questions, and interact with the group. Everyone was thrilled with her.

The nature of Altai is beautiful, but you will not really enjoy it, because you are always in a hurry. The timing is completely unthought out.

A huge plus is that at the end of the tour I was taken to my hotel as the departure I was in a day and not to the airport as I should have under the program Special attention to every tourist feels, you are great! We met you just as quickly, I had no problems I had a 9-day Bolshoy Altai tour We had 2 guides, they changed, they warned me about this The first guide, frankly speaking, I didn't really like it, but it's purely my personal opinion Please do not judge strictly Artem, in my opinion, was not very experienced, very often could not answer the usual questions and I honestly misunderstood him But he was still quite young, so he was ready for any move The only thing I was not personally warned about was that he collected money for something every day, including Teletskoye, which was included entirely in the price But maybe me I was not informed, I did not understand this point Other participants knew and understood everything In general, I have no complaints about Artem, and I wish him success in the future! And thanks for the bandanas he gave to everyone! Special thanks to driver Maxim too, though shaking in the mountains in the back seats is still a pleasure! Fortunately, the guys understood this and moved me forward But it's better to stock up on motion sickness pills The second guide - I really liked Alexander! He was both as a guide and as a driver. Unlike Artem, I felt experience and knowledge of all places, answers, again, even to my most stupid questions, I always received money every day no one collected We have already driven for short distances, but everything is also fine Alexander has a special care for every tourist, which is very important And for which special thanks to him! The whole tour took place along the Chuysky tract with a visit to the most significant places in Altai. Each guide presented Altai in his own way and the difference was huge! In general, I liked almost everything, except for the suspicious hidden charges that everyone knew about but me. Nevertheless, they were not included in the tour description, which is also strange. 4 stars And by the way, all the hostels were good, warm houses I really liked the Altyn Kel Hotel near Teletskoye Lake And the U Korotkov Manor on Chemal I directly recommend 5 plus! Shower and hot water in every camp site, I partially liked the food, partly not, but we were regularly taken to the stores So you can always buy something for yourself And of course there were souvenirs and cool entertainment! Thank you, I am very glad that thanks to you I got to know Altai and you discovered it for me from different angles! We wish you success and prosperity in the future! I recommend it!
