... that day, we were the only walking group that was able to climb to an altitude of 5350 m in unrealistic climatic conditions, where wind speeds reached 50 km/h and visibility sometimes reached a couple of meters. Bands were unfolding in front of us, but Alexander, due to his vast experience, knew that we would make it, he believed in each of us and knew what we could do. We were falling, we were blown away by the wind, and we couldn't take a sip of tea. It was a test of my strength. It was more than just climbing Mount Elbrus. I am grateful for all the challenges that have made us more courageous and strengthened our character.

About the tour: In 2023, one of my big dreams came true (shared with my sister, so the dream came true for both of us)) — to visit Nepal and go on a track around Annapurna. In November 2022, our great friend, guide Sasha, told his sister that he was recruiting a band for this track, and we asked him to join. I very much doubted that this was feasible; in fact, my physical shape did not correspond to this trip — the track itself is not particularly technical, but it runs at an altitude of 3,500 to 5,400 meters, which in itself is a big burden for the body. But my sister said that there is time, and this opportunity happens once in a lifetime! We are getting ready! From November to October 2023, we actively went to the gym, went light trekking in the Elbrus region, Sasha believed in us and our fighting spirit and took it with him, for which we are very grateful to him!
It is no exaggeration to say that from the point of view of what I saw, it was the most beautiful trip in my life! The views of the Annapurna massif were especially impressive: the mountain itself is not visible from the route, but several thousand meters are visible. You walk across the valley and marvel at the magnificent view: the mountains don't seem to be real or from an airplane, they are so huge, snowy and majestic!

About the tour: When we were going on this trip, we understood that this was probably the most important trip in our lives, as we would see the highest mountains on the planet with our own eyes! But we couldn't even imagine how much this amazing country would impress us. The locals were impressed with their sincere kindness despite the rather harsh living conditions. At first, the peculiarities of the mentality seem incomprehensible to a resident of the metropolis (just relax and enjoy), but over time, I really want to transfer them to my everyday life. The national cuisine is unusual and spicy, but the same dish, cooked in different places, will taste different. Shopping in Kathmandu is an art form in its own right. It's like gambling, even if you've never tried to bargain before, you're bound to drag you through this process from the very first minutes in pursuit of the best deal and quality product. Throughout the route, we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery, and the higher we went, the more it took our breath away from the beauty we saw.

About the tour: The first one. The Himalayas are simply indescribably beautiful. There aren't enough photos to capture all the views on the track. Not even the eyes are enough to just embrace all this beauty! You're just walking, yes, you're tired, yes, there are still many kilometers to go. Yes, fatigue is getting worse, and the highlands are starting to take their toll too. But it's worth it. Perhaps, at the moment, this is the most unforgettable trip.
It was an incredibly cool trip! Although I hadn't even looked towards the Himalayas until this year, it has always seemed far and incomprehensible to me. But exactly a year ago, I saw Sasha's band recruiting a group for a trip to Nepal and, without a shadow of a doubt, I immediately decided that I would go. This was my third trip with Sasha and definitely not the last one! Going with him in a band, I'm pretty sure that everything will be all right. He will cheer you up and calm you down, help you mentally and physically (if possible), and always give the right and necessary advice. He is attentive to people's moods and monitors the condition and gives recommendations. He never hurries and tries to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible to walk at their own pace.
He constantly tells something interesting, finds cool spots on the route for taking pictures, supports any ideas and often comes up with something for his leisure time. For example, he brought a projector to Nepal and we watched a movie on the ceiling in the evenings after dinner, wrapped in sleeping bags! About mountains, of course =)
He also took us to museums, taught us how to bargain at the market in Thamel and showed us the most necessary and useful things that we need to buy for future trips =)
I always sincerely recommend Sasha as an experienced and competent guide, and I am happy to join his groups myself. Read more
